I've got a remington 700 in .243 with a 20" barrel. It's a pretty handy rifle with the short barrel. Also 12 Guage with no. 4 buck for close quarters.

My buddy and I finally got it done wed. morning. Two bucks down within a minute with the same gun! I am incredibly thankfull for my deer and for being able to help my buddy harvest his first coues! His is the bigger of the two and I'm glad he was able to harvest a nice mature buck for his first.
