Azshooter I'm not saying spot and stalk is easier.I agree with you its more difficult then hunting out of a blind. At least with a bow...I was reacting to you saying that anyone can sit a blind and kill bucks, that its killing not hunting.I couldn't disagree more, not around here and not how I do it.its a hunting technique that takes experience and knowledge of your targeted animal to get good at,just like spot and stalk. I think a good hunter evaluates the situation and uses whatever technique or skill he knows that is most effective in that scenario.brush blinds are one of those tools for me,and I've had success using them.I've also spot and stalked with success, and still hunted with success. They're all options that I can deploy that make me a more effective, well rounded hunter. BUT, I still prefer glassin the hills and screwin up stalks!

All I've got to say is go build yourself a remote brush blind azshooter, and give it a try.I'll be looking forward to your 100" buck pics year after year since its so easy. I use different hunting techniques, and blind hunting for coues ain't easy. In my opinion its 100x more difficult getting within bow range of a coues in a brush blind then shooting a deer from 500+ yards with a rifle.. I prefer spot and stalk, but I think people picture blinds as tripod houses over corn.not mine! Mine are usually a remote v of brush in a strategic spot.the patience to hunt that way is in itself a respectable skill.

Just because its public land doesn't mean it has to be common sense/common curtosy-less land

Democratic Decision on Pronunciation of Coues

This is gonna be a butt kickin, good idea whoever did this -
Love it that things sweet!

Its real simple. If someone is already clearly hunting the area, you give them plenty of space and go somewhere else.that's the obvious right thing to do in my book. Coach I feel your frustration, the only thing worse then having a hunt Ruined by inconsiderate people would be to be the guy who ruins it for someone else.

Bummer! They got dominated all game at the line and didn't deserve to win,but it would've been cool nonetheless if they pulled off another miracle win....but instead.....SHANK!!!

I thought so too,but apparently not since nobody has hired him.I'm no pro scout, and I like tebow personally, but obviously he must not be a pro level qb or he'd be one
-
Didn't tebow barely play in the NFL,and his lack of a job as a qb proof that he's not good?
-
Or if he was a good football player...

That's a nice buck,congrats kid

I'm an intermediate level hunter and I know it.but I'm a pro reader and whatever the point of that article was I didn't understand.

Well my name on here pretty much says how I prefer to hunt.for me,the scouting, work, hunting, headaches, deerless days, failures, successes, processing my own meat.. are all equally valuable aspects of hunting.and when they all come together, the satisfaction I feel is unbelievable, and its why I hunt. I would feel like I was cheating myself out of that satisfaction if I was having someone else do any of those things for me.hunting is most rewarding for me doing it all, putting in all the effort myself, from start to finish. Having said that,I have zero problem with people hiring guides if that's how they want to hunt.I can also see it for people hunting a different state or country.

Spot and stalk, tree stand or blind?
100%DIYazCOUES replied to Dustin F's topic in Bowhunting for Coues Deer
Hunting out of a blind is certainly hunting, not just killing.I mostly spot and stalk, but I make the occasional brush blind too,and its all hunting just with different techniques and skills put to use.maybe I'm just not very good, but getting within bow range of a Coues buck,no matter the hunting style,is a big challenge. -
I'd take to .270 over the .300 for pig and deer.the.270 is perfect for deer and overkill for pigs, the .300 is overkill a bit for deer and just plain ridiculous on pigs.

Don't worry about it man,I fall under that category here and there too,it was the personal connection I have that got to me,I apologize for the wording I chose to use.

What are you using that you need to upgrade from?

You shot that buck one shot?

I've never been to a game where they say the pledge,it's only ever the anthem,is it common up north as high school games?
-
Yeah you might want to make sure you know something as simple as what city the schools in ,much less what school it is,before putting their info out here, dumba$$ move of the day goes to you.sorry, but I happen to know ms. Novak and she's a great person and hopefully does not receive any harassment over your rushed mistake.

That's an incredibly simple yet smart idea,I just emptied my wallet of ones...

They should just bring back the 7.3,easily the best light truck diesel motor ever.the 6.0s,in my opinion, arentvas bad as they're made out to be,except the 2004s, I'd still take one over a duramax but not over a cummins
