Well we searched all morning and this afternoon we finally found him! He had gotten up from where I last saw him and went down hill.after a little ways he piled up right between a rock and a ledge on a steep hillside. We are very lucky to have found him where he was.how do I post pics? I dont see where i click on my phone to post them.Also a big thanks for the advice,encouragement, and offers to help.some good people on here.

It was rifle.man I hope you guys are right. I agree he sure did look down for the count but crazier things have happened... He's the biggest buck I've ever shot,but that doesn't matter to me nearly as much as hopefully making sure he's not wounded.just the thought makes me cringe.

Southern az unit,spent the last 4 days hunting and only saw spikes and forkies with does.a little bit of the small bucks pushing the does but for the most part they were all relaxed.saw two bucks sparring yesterday and a nice roaming 3x3,but I'm guessing they won't start rutting in that area at least until after Christmas

I have an octane quiver.its light,silent,holds.the arrows securely, and is quick and easy to take off and put on the bow.I'm curious... What do you get out of a $140 tight spot quiver that I don't get out of my $40 quiver?Im just curious what the big differences are

There were bear tracks in an area I was bowhunting in unit 33 at least up to the end of last year. I shot a buck on Dec 28 and there had been snow for at least 3 weeks at that point and I was still seeing fresh bear tracks. I'm not sure about into January I was down low chasing pigs then.

I tracked a buck in fresh snow into a little valley last year until I got the feeling I was close,then I set up and rattled.2 bucks came running in from different directions and i arrowed one.it was cool,but that's the only success I've had rattling

I have the same late 33 tag.and I too am stuck at work.... Its killing me slowly

Other then the screws rusting a little I havent had any issues from hunting in the rain and snow.I just make sure my string is well waxed and that I dry the bow out before putting it in its case

I see what youre saying prdatr,but its not what its all about to everybody out there.not everyone shares our beliefs and just like I wouldn't wanna be crapped on for mine I won't crap on others for theirs.at least that's what I believe in...the general theme for all the holidays is family,love,charity...doesn't matter what religion (or lack thereof) it is,if you're about those things during whatever holidays you celebrate,you're cool in my book
