I did know UA volleyball made the tourney.lost to BYU.I watched it. Its just funny to me how UA beat asu in football,then stomped them in basketball, and you disappear from the face of the earth.then asu wins in women's basketball and all of a sudden there you are! It just reeked of desperation for something,anything to boast about.

I agree with that,and I would have if I could've seen his body where he bedded down.the shot I made was a clean double lunger and he still got back up and moved a ways. These deer never cease to amaze me with their toughness. Thanks for all the comments

They did the exact same thing for my brother last year,gave him half off a new bow because they couldn't replace the broken limb off his old thunderbolt.then they threw in a free lesson just to help him out.above and beyond,and it got them a loyal customer.

I have a vortex summit SSP that I like a lot.its small,very light and sturdy for how small it is.it handles my binos great, not sure how it'd handle a heavier spotting scope

So I shot him at approximately 430 pm and we found him the next day at about 2 pm.the meat was perfectly good still.the night that he was down must have cooled him down quite a bit,he was still pretty cool when we found him and that day was relatively warm.I was pleasantly surprised there was no spoilage. Thanks everybody!

This evening I shot a buck.he went down but got back up and stumbled a little ways before bedding down behind some brush.I watched him do the head nod for a bit,then he laid his head down and didn't move for about 5 minutes so I figured he was down for good and backed out and around the cliff I was on and by the time I got to where I thought he was it was dark and I couldn't find him and didn't find blood.its very possible I simply looked in the wrong spot,but myqquestion is what do I do now? Should I glass the hillside in the morning just in case I wounded him and he's moving,then hopefully I can finish him off.I feel horrible that he might be wounded or at least moved off,and any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Yes average Joe I missed.I am never 100% I'll hit heart or lungs but I felt pretty good about it at the time.looking back it wasn't the best shot I've ever decided to take,but I always appreciate when people write about their mistakes and failures,not just their successes and good decisions,so I included my own mistake in the story. Looking back I should've just let him go and maybe tried to find him again.but I didn't.live and learn.
