Thanks All yes we had Moose tags but it would have to be bigger than that to fly it out from where we were. Due to wait it would have cost an additional $1500-2000 in bush plane flights. Good luck in Kodiak lets see those pics when u return.

Depends on hunt. I think back east whitetail hunters that ride a bad boy buggy from there garage to tree stand don't need conditioning oh and those 20 yd shots "easy". Now elk hunt 10k ft no road access lucky to get a forty yd shot might need to be in better shape just my opinion

Shot this buck today24B December rifle. I looked for seven days for something bigger but I am happy with the result. They must be rutting at night I have been seeing does every morning but no bucks. Glassed this guy in his bed moved to 300yds and that was that.

Let this guy walk third day shoot him this week if I see again
