I feel like giving Adam a call and I don't even have a hunt in that unit . Adam's a great guy. Give him a call and I'm sure he'll point you the right direction. Good luck!!!

I'm getting off this site for the next week. Getting on and seeing all the success is making the wait even longer.

Congrats to the hunters!!! -
Good luck! Hope you get your buck.

Good luck to everyone for sure! I should be up in my unit around this time next week after dropping kids off to school. I have 80% of my gear sitting at the corner of the living room waiting. Going to be a long week of waiting.

Congrats. Nice story and pics. Can't believe it took 4 slugs to take it down. That's awesome.

Question about hours and pay as a salaried employee
bgshooter replied to PRDATR's topic in The Campfire
Sounds about right. Being a salary employee has its pros and cons. Treating your employees bad (i.e. making them work 7 days a week for and extended amount of time) will not be good for retaining any of the good employees. If they can find something better, they will. If not, they'll suck it up. Also, shutting down for a week and making you use your vacation time isn't that bad. Some companies have a use it or lose it policy. At least they're making you use it. -

Congrats to all. God bless Ty and his family. God bless hoghntr for his effort and everyone who donated. -
I saw a Remington 700 .243 in a pawn shop yesterday. I believe it's a youth model since the LOP felt short when I shoulder'd it. Asking price was $380 (guessing plus tax...I should have asked). Condition, it looks pretty good. Can use a good cleaning. Action is smooth and I didn't see anything wrong while inspecting it. I did get the serial number started with a "G" so I believe it was manufactured 1986 (can someone confirm that?). Do you guys think this is a good buy? What would be a good bottom dollar offer I could make on this rifle? This would eventually be my son's rifle when he's ready for it. Other rifle I was considering was the Savage Axis Youth for $300 at Cabelas. Thanks!

Wow. Sorry for your loss. Prayers go out to his family and friends. Take care.

PRODUCTS: Remington Arms Company, LLC (āRemingtonā) is voluntarily recalling Remington Model 700ā¢ and Model Sevenā¢ rifles with X-Mark ProĀ® (āXMPĀ®ā) triggers, manufactured from May 1, 2006 to April 9, 2014. That's what I found. If I'm correct on the year it was manufactured, should be ok right?

Hmmm...I don't think the pawn shop would have any history as far as the safety issue goes.

Anyone having problems with putting in for spring draw

Also, I got 3 refunds on 10/2 (just saw it today) for all the website errors. I had 4 charges in error so I emailed them asking for the 4th refund. So double check and make sure they refund you accordingly. -
Great story! I was out at Ben Avery on Saturday to zero out my rifle as well. Met a couple nice people. Glad I didn't see any jerk offs.
