Well glad to be home. I spent the last 10 days in the woods deer & elk hunting. I was very lucky to fill both tags within a 4 day stretch. After 6 days of not seeing any bucks on Thursday the last day of the archery deer season I was walking into an area that I planned to elk hunt the next morning. With about 30 minutes of light left I caught the sound of a twig snapping and turned to my right to see two mule deer bucks standing aprox 30 yards away. Both bucks stood broadside and allowed me to knock an arrow and draw, the larger buck was standing behind a tree with his vitals blocked so I settled in and released. The arrow hit its spot and the deer went only 15 yards before expiring. After having multiple chances to harvest a bull elk through Saturday night, the only problem is I had a cow tag! Everything went right Sunday morning. In the woods well before sunrise, bulls screaming & cows talking. We slowly worked our way through the woods chasing the sounds of love, when my wife spotted a solo cow walking a trail towards us. So we set up 20 yards away when the cow presented a shot I drew and she spooked so out of habit I lip squeked and she stopped at 33 yards quartered away I settled in and the arrow went in at the perfect angle exiting through the front shoulder we watched her expire 40 yards away. I want to thank everyone that helped me out. Jeremy at Browning's Custom Meats, My buddy Derek and my wonderful family.

Very Helpful! Great Customer Service! I definitely recommend Browmning's Custom Meats to everyone who is in need. I was very lucky last Thursday and harvested my 1st mule deer with my bow and dropped it off at Jeremy's shop late..( a funny story about the drive back to Jeremy's house will have to be saved for another day)... Then yesterday I filled my archery cow tag and was able too also drop that off at Jeremy's.. What a great four days. Thanks again Jeremy for everything..

I Guess 110 7/8" ..Give or take 10" -
We went 1 for 4. I drew a 5a Archery Cow tag!!! But my kids cant pull a cow tag. Its sad when your kid has 5 bonus points and and she's only 14 and only applies for cow.

If you look close at the left side of the pin has a hole in it, in that hole a bolt attaches it to the top side of the gear were the allen head bolt is. then the other end goes through the vertical shaft that is just poking through the top of the gear holding it up. So if I just leave the bolt and put a straight pin in it hopefully it will rest against the bolt and it won't continue to spin around on top of the gear. Am I not seeing this correctly?

Well I hit up every hardware store around me and none of them had that pin so I purchased a piece of 1/4 steel rod and was going to cut it. I was wondering since the old pin actually was bolted to the gear then went through the shaft if it will be a major deal if the new pin just goes through the shaft and does not bolt to the gear. I'm thinking that there shouldn't be that much movement on top of the gear. Maybe I will leave the old bolt in as a stop!? Just wondering what you thought about this.
