I think we have all seen "virtuous" men with important callings justify away their dishonest actions based on their perceived standing with God. The question of whether you are honest with your fellow man is not measured by a subjective standard. I've seen stake presidents who were absolutely dirty businessmen. I've seen bishops treat their wives and kids like crap. heck,my former stake president was busted in a prostitution sting. The fact is, everyone is imperfect, but when I hear someone name drop a person's church calling to imply that they have good character that's an automatic red flag. No bringing my father into this is an extremely sleazy thing to do ! If you are ever in Heber Az stop and ask any local what they think about my dad . Driving south on I-15 you go from Fillmore to Beaver. Lots of jokes on high school road trips about going through the "Fillmore Beaver" area. I bet I know where Trphyhuntr puts in next year. 🤣

That sucks. Where were you planning on going. Mostly everything is closed. We were going to go to Willow Springs. He likes it there and I was going to fish off the shore while he Kayaked. I might also get one this summer. On the way back we were coming up that last long hill about 7:00 and near the top there was a DPS vehicle blocking off the left lane with about 15 cones. Two women and a guy were standing next to a car on it's roof in the medium. It hit the guardrail and they looked ok but the younger woman was crying. That is a sharp S Turn on a downhill and they must have lost control coming out of the last turn and hit the guardrail and flipped it as the medium has a bit of a drop off. Lost of people take that turn close to 80mph. They are lucky to be alive, very lucky. It probably happened just a short time before we came up on them. A couple of miles after we past the turnoff for Four Peaks I saw an Ambulance and then a Fire Truck on there way, lights off. Median...He was sick give him a brake.

I actually have taken horses to Out of AfricaI consider it recycling. Horses have to be terminal with vet letter and no drugs last 30 days. The staff there actually made it a pretty easy process. Offered to give the Phoenix Zoo one but they wanted it butchered and wrapped. Uhmmm, no. Not a bad alternative idea for the feral horses though.....lion meat at the Phx Zoo........win win???It would be fun to watch the lions catch them.

Finally some good news.

If they leave it open some idiot will start a fire, you can bet on that. How did the tinder fire start? They havent enforced anything yet. Why would they start now?
