Saw one of the biggest mulie's in my life in Bushnell tanks.

Hunted Colorado and AZ for years and it's ALWAYS a good idea to have chains. A winch can make a world of dif too. Got stuck a few times and chains or the winch made all the dif in having to dig and claw or just drive your way out. Make sure you have a "High Lift" jack to put those chains on as well.

I have learned thru the years that one thing is for sure about tanks. If there is a lot of juniper around it it will dry up in a heartbeat. Junipers are like weeds and they suck the moisture up at a fast rate. If you find a tank that has some juniper but its far enough away from it, it will last longer. Ground conditions are also a big part of it. If the ground perks quick the water will go quick.

The data I have researched says that of ALL the short mags out there the .270wsm is by far the best. I have one and love. It does heat up quick tho but if your just using it for hunting 1 shot is all you need. If you want something to go shoot at targets with lots of rounds maybe lark has the right answer.

All you fellow hunters keep 5guyshunting and BigEinAZ in your thoughts. They are in 21 and are fighting 6" to 8" of mud trying to get their trailers out. They are helping some friends with the cow hunt, which they filled 2 of the 3 tags and now are just trying to get back home. Good luck boys!!!!
