I didn't know a guide was that important up there. I've never hunted there so I really don't know anything about the area. I know you could spend thousands in gas just for scouting. I would also love a huge Muley hanging on the wall. That's why I've started building points in other states. I'm not looking for a Giant. I would be REALLY happy with a 170-180 Buck. With a few points and private land access you can get something that size in a surrounding state. It should only take half the points it takes to draw an Az tag. Yes you may not have a legit chance at a 200, but a 170-180 looks just as nice on the wall to me! Adam This is a 170+ buck shot just north of Phoenix. Don't need to go all the way to the strip for a buck like this.

I would look for auto that's gas operated. They seem to take a lot of the recoil away. JMO

^^^Agree...... I used to belong to a party and won't say which one cuz that will only cause hate and discontent and a huge debate. Quick question. The cheek rest you have on it. Did you have to drill thru the stock or does it crimp in the stock. My friend is looking for some sort of cheek rest for new rifle he bought.

When you bump the shoulder to the spec you want is that done with the full length die by adjusting the center?

Ok. I do full length resizing. I have never had any rounds seem tight going in on once fired reloads. I didn't know if the new brass is stronger as it's never been fired before and may help with accuracy. Thanks for the info azgutpile

Do you think that once fired in the same gun you reload for helps with fire forming it? I know I have reloaded other stuff that's been shot once but not in the same gun. I want to get a good accurate load for my rifle that I am going to use for elk this year.

I could care less if some old fart wants to hoard .22s. It's his right to own as much as he wants. The problem is, it's just like gas. When there is short supply and the manufacturers know it the price goes up. Maybe someone should come up with a way to reload them and become a billionaire. I got plenty. They are for the kids to shoot and learn. When I run out I will stand in line I guess.
