Discount may have the best prices but you need to check around. Sometimes people will do take offs and they can be 90% still good. Just depends on what your looking for. -

The little bit of extra width in back on a stock rhino gives you just a little more stability in corners. I tried it once and noticed it rolled over a little more in a corner so I went back to the bigger ones in back and it helped. Also they had a "Notice" on rhinos about 5 years ago or so I think about removing the anti sway bar in the rear as it made it stiffer in a corner and more prone to roll over. I took mine of and what a big difference. -
New to a quad. Have you been pulled over on dirt roads not street legal?
murfys69law replied to apache12's topic in Other Hunting Gear
I have had 2 nephews in the last 3 years get pulled over and given a slew of tickets taking out the only OHV not street legal quad... This quad is not on DOT tires and in neither case was their a citation for the tires ... For over 6 years, I have seen people claim there is a Mysterious Statute that does not seem to be in the revised State statutes or any official publication that defines making your OHV street legal... In all these years and after being on many Forums both Hunting and offroad/OHV sites I have yet to see anyone be able to share a citation statute violation code for non DOT tires ... I see nothing wrong with having DOT tires and for those who spend as much time on paved and hard-packed maintained roads as they do the more rugged stuff I would recommend them. But until I see an actual statue - official publication or at least a citation with the violation code ( so the validity can be researched through the laws ) I am not buying the DOT thing as being something more than what Tire retailers are selling to the public to make more $$$$$ I will have to agree with str8shot on this now. I have researched this for 2 weeks and find nothing in ARS codes. I even called my good friend who is a Lieutenant with PD for 23 years and he has never heard of one. The people that have said they were ticketed were a friend of a friend and I never met them so as far as trying to see a ARS code on the so called ticket for this has never happened. Good cal str8shot. I guess you just can't believe some people. -
Clear creek can be a great hike but you have to check and find out when the "No see um's" are out. Had some friends that did it. They went in through bull pen and hiked about 15 miles in. They said the farther they went in the bigger the fish got but the no see um's like to ate them up. The only thing they found that helped was they had little packs of Dawn dishwashing liquid and they said that helped but not totally. They had every kind of bug spray too and they think it just attracted them.

how old is the powder
murfys69law replied to 5guyshunting's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
Used to get that steak and eggs all the time. Great breakfast. I still have a pound of imr4350 powder from Smitty's. Just shot a 1/4 inch group with it. Still went bang. -
Nice bull. Really dark horns too.

White house says gun control will stop violence in Baltimore
murfys69law posted a topic in Political Discussions related to hunting
In a news report when asked what could be done to stop the murders and violence in Baltimore, MD the Whithouse press suckretary respond that more gun control laws would help. Baltimore has 1 of the most strict gun control laws in the nation and it has done NO good. The violence is unchecked. What they need is leadership with some balls!!! NOT MORE LAWS!!!! Watch this 6 minute video. http://100percentfedup.com/2015/05/28/video-baltimore-mayor-tries-embarrass-fox-news-reporter-white-house-suggests-gun-control-will-solve-crime-baltimore/ -

This Gov is the only ones that think they could cut the end off a blanket, sew it on the other end and make it longer. Same with their gun laws. -
I'm not mad at all. I am stating my opinion and beliefs about how I was raised without the fact that my family from SW Louisiana & SE Texas never poached and they were dirt poor as well. They lived off the land as well at times by raising their own animals or eating armadillo's or turtles or catching fish from canals and that didn't require a license or tag. They worked hard at whatever they could do so they didn't have to break the law. My grandfather was a deputy sheriff in Cameron, LA and used to arrest poaches in the early 40s and 50s and that's how I was raised. The original post I agree was some drunk talking crap. But when others try to justify people they know shooting animals out of season that they have been witness to, I find offensive as well as illegal. BTW..Armadillo is great bar-b-qued.

Why would they make this so visible if it was a pot operation.

IDGAF. Again you have made this personal with your smart a$$ comment to me. I have tried to stick the facts and not call names which you certainly aren't mature enough to do without. Live your life how you want, associate with who you want. Admire who you want. Maybe write a book or make a movie about your great friend who shot all these elk, legal or not. Hope it's a best seller. Maybe you can play his little sidekick learning how to hunt. But don't try to convince me that what he or any of these people did is right.
