I had a buddy draw on accident a cow tag with 9 points. Right when he submitted online he knew he made a mistake, called azgfd and they wouldn't let him change it. worst nightmare ever

Not being drawn for a hunt with leftover tags is error by the applicant. either you put the wrong hunt number, ss# or wrote your name where it was impossible to read, left out a box etc..... I know people hate to say they made a mistake that's the only way this can happen. My favorite is when someone gets a hit for an elk tag and only put in for bull but end up receiving a cow tag. They eventually realize they are much dumber than they maybe first admitted lol

this thread cant hold a candle to whats going on in the order protection thread. You have all the drama combined into one thread over there. Mama drama, bulk elk drama, I'm a better hunter than you think drama, meat hunting drama, power trip drama, who can pack out an elk by themselves drama, honey hole drama, hunt by yourself drama and you don't know who I am, im a BA hunter drama. I have an idea for my next thread but I may have to rethink it after the "order protection" thread

People worried about Federal land being transferred to State really shouldn't be worried. The State does sell land to private interests, yes. But they only sell parcels that are in Phoenix (or Tucson) or very close proximity and sell them for ridiculous amounts of money. The State will not and has not sold state land where all of you hunt. And boy trust me, people have tried, especially in the northern part of the state. If I had to pick for the feds to manage our land or the state, I would pick the state without blinking an eye.
