Nice Job! I've used Minwax Jacobean Stain and put some Johnson’s paste wax on the tips of the antlers so the stain wouldn't stick to the tips. This has worked nicely for me in the past. Sometimes you need a couple coats of the stain.

I've had a few comments about the condition of the stock. I have another less expensive black Weatherby stock I'll sweeten the deal with as well as a neoprene sling. Yes the stock has some cosmetic issues but is still structurally sound and functional. You could put the black stock on while you have the original stock refinished in the pattern of your liking. This gun new will cost you around $1700. Get this for under a grand even with a refinished stock if you wish to go that route! Thanks for looking.
