Doesn't the FAA usually get involved immediately after a crash? They have access to high tech stuff, including real time satellite imagery. If the Plane had a functional transponder, they should be able to locate it pretty quickly, unless it is under water?

Maybe like the movie "Romancing the Stone", where they stumble upon a downed plane stuffed full of Ganja.

Merry Christmas, Doug. Nice photo. Is that the Grand Canyon peeking through in the back ground, or Sedona?

The wisest man I ever met was a third grade dropout
Snapshot replied to Non-Typical Solutions's topic in The Campfire
My Grandpa was uneducated. Could hardly write his own name, but he could read a newspaper. Tough, hard working farmer. Sun up, to sun down. Even late into the evening on a tractor, or combine, during planting and harvest. When I was in Montana 7 years ago, I got a call on Christmas day that he had passed away. Not the wisest man I have ever known, but they don't make men like him much anymore. -
Merry Christmas, Tony! Hope all is well. Love that photo!

Set off an explosive device in tall dry grass, for gender reveal. Congratulations Daddy. You now owe the Government millions of dollars in fire fighting fee's. It will only take 20 lifetimes to pay it off.

Wildcats choked that game away. Pretty much what they've done all season.

They are people that shouldn't have a drivers license.

Good drizzle in mid town Tucson right now, but no snow. LOL. Fall is in the air.

Question for people who tow fifth wheels with short beds.
Snapshot replied to AZHUNTER05's topic in The Campfire
It depends on the distance from the 5th wheel hitch pin to the body of the camper. I towed my fifth wheel with my Dodge 6'4" bed. With standard Reese hitch. I could turn more than 90 degrees and there was no interference. But my fifth wheel trailer has a longer then average tongue on it. -
Been getting a drizzle in Tucson, including some yesterday. They said there may be some flooding. The main part of the storm is west of Tucson. Hooking north towards Phoenix and the rim country.

Don't understand why they are changing, when Mastercard is notoriously Leftwing.

Thunder Canyon brewery used to have an 11% beer. They would only allow you to drink 2 pints while on the premises. And I did.

Some of those special brews that have 10-11% alchohol are butt kickers. I'm speaking from experience. Lol.

I like Coors light. Quit picking on me.

Rest easy, Captain! -
Who knows if it happened in daylight or after dark? It's also possible that another vehicle was coming around the corner in the opposite direction, and they swerved to avoid? Many different scenarios to consider, but more than likely they may have been going to fast.

I remember when it was fun to leisurely ride around. Nowadays, there seem to be too many Kamikaze riders out in the popular spots. The closer to the cities, the worse it is. Can't imagine what someone was doing to drive off a cliff?

First game of the season. Sundevils scored 14 points in the first 2 minutes of the game against UTSA. One being a defensive TD. Maybe Herm Edwards will be the coach they need Wildcats game just starting. Will be interesting to see how they do against BYU.

All kinds of douchebaggery takes place on public lands. Sad but true.

Wildcats beat Southern Utah 62-31. But thats not saying much. Will see how they play against good conference teams.
