Due to a lack of participant's, there will be no quad ride on Saturday. Considering it is going to be hotter than heck's blazes', it is probably a good thing.

Option B is exactly the type of place that I hunt. There are not many whitetail in my spot, but it does hold a nice buck or two on occasion. Last year I killed a 99" buck 10 minutes into the hunt, as I am not the type to examine a gift horse too closely I will take quality and solitude over quantity any day, a 100" buck in rifle range?, you bet!

Just hope your cell phone is not on roam It took me about 3-4 hours of constant redial to get elk results this year, the deer draw is worse because of the amount of applicants.

I drew a Unit 27 November Archery bull tag that reported a 0% harvest ratio last year, so my expectations are not high. That being said, my main concern is to have a good time in a high quality unit with only 24 other hunters to compete with At that time of year, most of the good bulls are in a pretty rugged and roadless areas, and I look forward to the challenge as I should be able to hunt the full 2 weeks, and I know the area very well. I will shoot at what ever bull that I can get within bow range, and will not measure the success of my hunt based on anlter size, even though that 380 bull still haunts my dreams and would look great on the wall

Ssshhhhhh! I promised a certain CWT member that is too large for the small sportquad he was riding that I would not let the cat out of the bag over that incident. Its not a bad trail on a 4 x 4 quad with a CVT, but a few spots are a bit tricky for a manual clutch machine. I dont know what/who you are talking about there Sir! Unfortunately, I wont be able to make it this year. My girl friend is the Maid of Honor in one of our friends weddings that same day! PS, if I had MY quad, I would have been good to go! Atleast all got a good laugh out of it, right? Sorry Bro, It wasn't too funny at the time. Don't want to see anyone get injured At least you are strong enought to have kept that quad off the top of you. If I flipped my quad,I would probably be crushed under almost 900lbs. Ouch!

Hy Bill, Do you remember the day when catching 10lb. fish up there was not uncommon. I have seen pictures of the fish from yesteryear, but have never personally caught a fish up there bigger than 4lbs.

Barring any delays, draw results should be available in approx 3 weeks. Tags are usually mailed out a couple weeks after results are posted.

thats what I was thinking. Right after the water treatment plant in Marana. You know, I/we laugh at that, but growing up I used to swim in the santa cruz all of the time. I grew up on a farm by Evergreen Air Center....... RIGHT AFTER THE WATER TREATMENT PLANT IN MARANA!!! That whole time I thought it was dead craw-dads floating down the river..... Kinda like in the movie "Caddyshack" with the candybar floating in the pool! "Dooooodiiiee"

Lee's Ferry for Sure. I think that just around that bend in the river is a spot that during low flows has been known to mangle the lower section of an outboard if you are not careful.
