Amanda, Glad you are home safe. I was worrying all day about your problem with leaking gas and the possibility of sparks or hot exhaust pipes -
I don't know what makes you look better, being behind those bars, or standing with those Hooter girls? Great pics. I always wanted to go to S.F, and pig out at the fishermans wharf. Thanks for sharing TJ.

There is an overheating problem also. Sounds like the leak is back by the gas tank, which if it is bad enough could cause a lean condition and overheat, and also a fuel line vaccum problem which could cause stalling? Just a guess? -

Thats awesome, and one heck of a hike in some great country. How long did it take you to finish the trip?

I think any good striker with technical ability could beat Lesnar if the fight stayed upright. Lesnar gets you on the ground and beats you with raw strength and size. He is just a brute! As you can probably tell from my Avatar, I am a huge Minnesota Vikings fan. In 2004 Brock Lesnar tried out for the Vikings, but was cut from the team after preseason.

Happy B-Day, and enjoy your special day in moderation

Most of us at the CWT.com party were watching the fight, I could almost feel that knockout punch that Bisping got, then when he landed on him with that elbow! Ouch, Someone got a whoopin! Lesnar sure is a class act

17 Bass and 14 catfish in a morning! Sounds like a great time. Are the fish more concentrated with the low water levels. I have not been up there in awhile.

This is almost as good as UFC Fight Night!

Come on Mike, don't you know that bashing the G$F, before and after the draw is everyone's favorite pastime? Just kidding bro. I don't think the G&F makes any interest on that money. Its just too short of a time frame to get it into an interest earning account?? It would be nice if they did make something to help offset the money the State sweeps away from them into the general fund! All I want is a "sticky tag"
-
I would be most grateful if you printed me up a Unit 1 early rifle Bull Tag, and a Unit 27 Sheep tag.
-
I would say just about everybody that has read this post has called and heard " draw results are unavailable at this time"
-
If I only had a dollar for every time I have heard that. Because of you, everyone will be up at midnight dialing their phones.

Party at Jim Reynolds' house!
Snapshot replied to CouesWhitetail's topic in CouesWhitetail.com Get-togethers!
Due to a lack of participant's, there will be no quad ride on Saturday. Considering it is going to be hotter than heck's blazes', it is probably a good thing. -
Dang, and here I was going to guess that the neighbors Python got loose!

Great pics in a nice setting.!

Option B is exactly the type of place that I hunt. There are not many whitetail in my spot, but it does hold a nice buck or two on occasion. Last year I killed a 99" buck 10 minutes into the hunt, as I am not the type to examine a gift horse too closely I will take quality and solitude over quantity any day, a 100" buck in rifle range?, you bet!
-
Just hope your cell phone is not on roam It took me about 3-4 hours of constant redial to get elk results this year, the deer draw is worse because of the amount of applicants.

I drew a Unit 27 November Archery bull tag that reported a 0% harvest ratio last year, so my expectations are not high. That being said, my main concern is to have a good time in a high quality unit with only 24 other hunters to compete with At that time of year, most of the good bulls are in a pretty rugged and roadless areas, and I look forward to the challenge as I should be able to hunt the full 2 weeks, and I know the area very well. I will shoot at what ever bull that I can get within bow range, and will not measure the success of my hunt based on anlter size, even though that 380 bull still haunts my dreams and would look great on the wall
