Older members???.......Older members?...... Man, the gloves are on now! Just for that, I am going back over to MM, and I am never coming back! I guess I better not say that, or the door might hit me in the butt on the way out

Happy Birthday Bro. May your day be a good one!
-
Wow! That is a great ram. I salute you for your efforts. That is one tough area to hunt!

As 300ultramag stated, "enjoy the creation", if you are hiking the hills, or flinging corn. Enjoy it in your own way!

The AZG&F does not own the animals, they are the "Stewards" of those animals, and can make regulations to in the management of the game animals. I do not know much about feeding animals, as it is something I do not believe in doing, but I think food plots are only allowed on private land.

If I was abolutely sure the buck would not make it to December, I would try and help a buddy get that buck. Better a friend taking it than a stranger!

Your dry goods can be put in a duffel or small cooler. Tie a rope to it and throw the other end of the rope over a branch up high. Hoist your load up about ten feet and tie off the rope to the tree. Just make sure that the food is not to close to the main tree trunk as bears can climb. Your perishable's would have to be put in a small cooler and done the same way. I have never done this myself, I am just repeating what I have read. I think there are also bear proof coolers or lock boxes available somewhere? Honestly, if it were me, I would not even worry about it!

I hope things go well for your G-pa. What age did he get the heart t-plant?

I have hunted up in unit 27 off and on for 3 decades. 27 has the highest bear concentration in the state, and I have never had a problem, with the exception of a sow and two cubs that visited camp one night, but did not cause any problems. The tent I use is a big two room tent. One for sleeping, one room for cooking and the food is always in the tent. And I have had zero problems wherever I hunt. Lucky maybe?

12-15 degrees and snow? Better you than me bro! Winter comes early up north I guess? It is starting to cool off down here finally. Hopefully it will be nice and cool for the first deer hunts>

Its time to man up cheeseheads! This coming Monday nights game between the Vikings and Packers is anticipated to be the most watched game in NFL regular season history! Its the Packers chance to tie this years eventual NFC Champions(Vikings), for the NFC northl division lead. I think Brett Favre will be a man on a mission, he will down a few Geritol , and he is going to lay a whoopin on the Pack, along with alot of help fromAdrian P. and Percy Harvin. Just for the record,........, This years NFC Championship game New York Giants vs. Minnestoa Vikings (Vikings win) This years AFC Championship Game Baltimore Ravens vs. Inndianapolis Colts (Ravens Win) SUPERBOWL Ravens vs. Vikings (Vikings win) I may be eating crow next January, but there it is!

That sure is a nice bull.! Congrats on the hunt, sounds like a great time!

s expected, the Vikings-Packers game Monday night and the first matchup between Brett Favre and his former Green Bay teammates was of interest to far more than just the locals. On Tuesday, it was announced that the game not only broke the record for ESPN’s Monday Night Football, it shattered it and broke record for a cable audience for any show. Monday’s game was watched by an estimated 21.8 million people. That not only broke the record for ESPN’s football coverage, a mark of 18.6 million set last year when Philadelphia played Dallas, it became the most watched cable television program of all time. It also was announced that the 15.3 rating pulled in by the game broke the record for ESPN’s all-time market share, a mark of 14.4 set by the Vikings-Bears game Dec. 6, 1987, when there were far fewer channels on cable systems to serve as competition. 1987 was ESPN’s first year of broadcasting NFL football. Even more impressive was the local TV numbers, in which KSTP Channel 5 and ESPN combined to draw a 58.3 rating, which was 15 ratings points higher than the Super Bowl. With 1.7 million households assigned to the Twin Cities market by the Nielsen corporation, more than one million of those households were tuned into the game – a mammoth number that may never be touched again unless the Vikings make the Super Bowl. Similar numbers were posted in Milwaukee, where watching Favre play the Packers did a 49.7 rating.

Happy birthday Bro! May the beer be cold, and the anlters large!

Have a good day Bro.! What I would give to be celebrating my 27th once again
-
Mike, I just had to turn my laptop upside down to try and read that code

In the first four games as a Viking, Favre has only thrown 1 INT, and that was because the ball bounced out of Berrian's hands after a perfect throw.

Just got the news today that my Dad's brother died from a heart attack while in the field harvesting crops. He was a good man,and a farmer in southern Minnesota, where most of my family resides. I just wanted to offer up a prayer for him and the family. Godspeed Uncle Curt!
-
That was a fun game to watch. With the exception of Jared Allen (the beast), the Vikings played some pretty soft defense at the end of the game and had 9 unanswered points scored against them. I am pretty impressed with the packers quarterback Arron Rodgers, who had an outstanding passing game. The Vikings Offensive line did a good job, and kept Favre from getting sacked and pounded on tonight.
-
The San Francisco defense did that to him last Sunday. He was moving very slowly, and painfuly, after the game The Vikings offensive line needs to start protecting Favre better or he won't make it through the season.
-
Favre just broke Carl Ellers record of 271 straight games as a starter.
-
Hope you and your Dad have a great time! It should be a great game regardless of the outcome. You just need to get ahold of some good ole Wisconsin cheese curds to go with the Brats!
-
No last minute jibes from Pack fans? Prediction: Vikings 27 .......Packers 17
-
Thank you fellas! We have lost 4 family members in 3 years, gets kinda hard after awile!

Wow! I guess that unit does kick out a few good bulls. Nice Job!
