The November Archery elk hunt starts tommorrow, but I can't make it up until Tuesday ,better late than never! I am about jumping out of my skin to be up there hunting elk in the wild country.

I almost donated my elk tag, but a turn of events allowed me to make the hunt afterall. Eddie understood that the donation might be a last minute deal and was not a gaurantee. If anything happens in the future where I can't hunt I will certainly donate to them. It is nice to see those kids get a chance to hunt, and just spend some quality time in the outdoors. It is a great thing that someone is willing to make it happen for them!

I have hunted 30B, 4 times in the last 7 years and have not had any problems, except with the overcrowding of hunters Old sign is all I have found, hot sauce bottles, mexican grocery bags etc. But have never seen any on the move.

Mine too! I have hunted up there since the late 70's, it is always my first choice. I am still trying to get a handle on the elk hunting up there, because it is hard to get the experience, when it is so hard to get drawn. But I have taken alot of deer and some bear out of 27. Can't wait to get up there!

Even though the odds are against me, if I should get lucky on my post rut archery Elk hunt, does anyone know of a location in the Tucson area where you can donate game meat to "feed the needy"? I simply do not have a place to put alot of elk meat right now, and would like to donate some to a good cause if I tag out. And yes, I know what some of you are thinking

With the warm weather we have been having in Tucson, I was wondering if it would be a warm hunt or not. Hoping for cold weather to keep them bulls from bedding to early. It will be a tough hunt, but fun,hopefully!

I agree 100% Mike. I have felt like that for along time. Too much "commercialization" of Christmas, both in the material and religous aspects of it. If someone is offended by saying "Merry Christmas" to them, well then too bad, so sad! Christmas is Christ's birthday and should be celebrated as such,or not at all!
