I read about that also. Pretty sad that someone who claims to be a "hunter" would stoop to that level> Maybe he took lessons from Kirt Darner?

Sorry to hear that Terry. I have never met him, but he sounds like a good man, and I am sorry that he left at such a young age. My prayers and sympathy for his family and freinds.

Absolutely!. Mike (Gamehauler) is a good man. And I would give him the shirt off my back. I am sure others are quality people mentioned as well. Just a little left handed humor going on!

Hunting and being in the outdoors can hold dangers for all of us. This was just a very unfortunate circumstance. My heart goes out to his family and freinds. I know this is a very rough time for them, especially for his wife and kids. Godspeed Skylar!

Grab a 500 pound lion by his nuggets, no thanks! That looks like one of those game farms down in South Africa!

That is very sad, and my prayers and sympathy go out to his family and freinds. Not meaning to take away from this topic, but in 1997 I hunted with an outfitter in the Weminuche Wilderness in Colorado. He had 3 camps setup about 3-4 miles apart. Up in one of the camps a large tree fell down right on top of the tent the clients were sleeping in. Fortunately the tree fell in between the sleeping men and nobody was hurt. Scary stuff!

I put in for the unit that I do, because I have hunted there for thirty years. The unit holds alot of fond for memories for me and has a spiritual value as well. It is also a unit where you can get away from the crowds and have a reasonable chance of finding "Mr. big"

Down here in the greater Tucson area, it is just rainy drizzle and clouds, wind and cold. The wind last night was crazy! Can't see the mountains. Everything is socked in with clouds.
