I like the "Tracks across Africa" show. I am not a huge Bodington fan, but I like the African hunting.

I have never been much of a "shed hunter", but I do look for sheds and skulls when I hunt or scout. Last April I saw a small 3 point muley buck up in 27 that was still in velvet, and I thought it would be pretty cool to find a shed with velvet on it. Has anyone ever found a velvet shed?

Certainly be careful if you camp close to lakes edge! years ago I went for a springtime fishing overnighter at San Carlos. I parked about 50 yards from the water. When I woke up in the morning the water was up a few inches on my back tires Its amazing how quickly the water level can rise, when you don't even expect it.

There are many complaints and some class action law suits against Directv. They are notorious about not telling the customers at sign up of contracts that are basically setup like cellular phones. They must have taken a page from the cellular companies about early termination fee's. Watch your bill closely and challenge everything. Especially after you first sign up. I heard some of these issues are being challenged in court. Never allow Directv to set you up on automatic payments from your bank account. There are horror stories of people on the internet who cancelled their service and Directv dipped into their bank accounts in the amount of $900.00 for equipment costs. Directv is one of the communication giant's that need a good slappin by the fed's. Yes, I have gone a couple rounds with Directv. They are another sleazy Corporate giant that likes to take advantage of consumers. Sorry for the rant! On a happier note, Directv does have the best channels, outdoor included. But I can go the rest of my life without seeing another eastern whitetail or turkey hunting show

Even though it was kinda cold and rainy, we all hung out inside and had some great chow. Rick (AKA TexasHunter) made up some super delicious smoked brisket and pork shoulder, along with a fantastic bean recipe. We all brought a little something to share and it made for a great meal. In attendance where, Rick(TexasHunter) and his grilfreind Lisa, Amanda and her husband Paul, Larry(Scoutm),Chris(Sundevil) and Chris (Motoxn053) and his wife and daughter. and Myself (Snapshot) Chris's little daughter was so cute and funny, and so was Rick and Lisa's little Chihuahua(Spelling?), she looked like the little taco bell dog, she was a fun little dog with a great attitude. It was great talking to Amanda's husband Paul. He is a great guy and bit of a movie buff like myself and we enjoyed a pleasant conversation about different films and video's. Thank you Rick and lisa for hosting the get together and providing the meal! I wish I would have taken a picture of your big ole smoker BBQ grill it was pretty cool. Rick the "Grill master" AKA TexasHunter. Amanda and her husband Paul From right to left Rick(TexasHunter), Lisa and their freind from left to right Chris(Sundevil), Larry (Scoutm), Chris(Motoxno53) Chris's(Montoxno53) wife Kristi, and daughter Taryn, she is being shy, but she is so cute. No picture taken of me, but nobody wants to see my ugly mug anyway

Thats great to hear you are catching some fat fish. I don't have a boat, but as soon as I hear the bass and crappie are coming into the shallows at Roosevelt, I want to head up there. I have done well in the past walking the banks, just gotta keep an eye out for the dang snakes when the weather is nice

3 years ago I saw a huge boar down at the base of the Mountains in 34A about a mile west of Helvetia. He was almost out into the flats. He was big! Same year I also saw a nice boar down in 35B, in Providencia canyon, but it was in October.
