I'm thinking about heading to San Carlos next week after the fishing has stablized after this storm front. Does anybody know if it is legal to carry a sidearm while fishing on the shore. I can't seem to find the info?

No snow in central Tucson. Just rain and hail today. Here is a pic of me in Montana 1 year ago after a blizzard. This was taken in the parking lot when I was working for Blackhawk over the winter.

Even though I will never support any legislation like HB2072 or the auctioning of wildlife tags, the worst thing about HB2072 is that it is turning hunters against one another. That is a sad thing! -

In a post Apocalyptic world it is the hunter's that will survive. These liberal wimps would be toast, if they had to hunt to eat. -

If they are that ignorant about hunting, I say let them lose business. They made a knee jerk reaction to a couple of photos? What impact would there sponsorship have because of any backlash from the photos? Probably minimal. That CEO is probably just an anti-hunter. Buffalo and Elephant are not even close to endangered. The article is also wrong about Zimbabwe culling elephants. They still have Problem Animal Control (PAC) hunts in that country, and many elephant are harvested under that program. -

320 Hours isn't bad, especially if it was maintained well. Looks to be in good shape. If it runs good, and there is no smoke from the exhaust after it warms up, I would say that is a fair deal. -
.......Plus the Government, in whatever form, likes to complicate simple things!

Thats a nice Buck. Good job young man.!

Was that you we were picking gravel out of? I take responsibility for asking if you could make it up that gnarly little hill. But you were a little too big for that twitchy little sport quad you were riding. -

I emailed Carl in response to HB2072. He was kind enough to email back. Glad to hear they are against it. -
Questions regarding used Utility Quads (ATV)

Thats one thing I don't like about Constant Velocity Transmissions, especially on my Polaris. Downhill braking! Going down steep rough trails can be interesting. Have to lay hard on the brakes. The newer models have Active Descent Control(ADC) which is a form of engine braking. All machines from top manufacturers are good. Honda is probably the most reliable, they have been at the ATV game a long time. I rode a guys Yamaha GRizzly, and it was a nice ride also. King Quads are good also. Independent rear suspension is the best IMO. Soild axle models give you much less ground clearance under the axle if you ride in rocky terrain. Solid axles also have other handling limitations compared to IRS. -
Don Peay is a seriously misguided individual.

That buck could have a hidey hole 500 yards away, or 5000 yards away. Those old bucks are sneaky! I once saw a herd buck and his does during the rut and they mainly stayed in a 1/2 mile square area. I saw them just about every weekend. I never did get that big boy with my bow.

Many years ago I was hunting mule deer in Unit 27 with my Dad. We were a couple miles from camp in the bottom of a big canyon. We found a nice place to sit down and eat our lunch. As we were sitting there eating and talking, two decent bucks had jumped up about 75 yards away and were hauling butt down the canyon. We scrambled for our rifles and opened fire the best we could, as the brush was thick and the deer were moving fast. After searching the area for awhile, we found no sign that we had hit either of the deer, so we finished our lunch and moved on to look around some more. Good Times!

1500 miles is not much. I have about 1800 on mine and a couple hundred hours I think. Still in great shape. -

I personally like Polaris. I bought a new Sportsman 450 in 2006. I do wish I would have gone with the 500 fuel injected. Fuel injection will automatically adjust for altitude changes. I installed a dial-a-jet on mine which makes for easy fuel adjustments at altitude. I also like the Polaris because its big and comfortable. Take care of them and they will last. The Poalris is a AWD - All wheel drive, and not a full time 4x4. The front drive only engages when the rear wheels start to spin when it is in AWD Mode. I put 14" rims and 27"Tires on it, and have almost a foot of ground clearance, but your really have to change the clutch to a different size if you switch from stock tires to a larger size tire. -

I kinda figured the Cats would lose the game today. Young team. Their shooting in the second half was horrendous. But the last couple minutes was exciting. Next year!
