I have a 2006 Polaris Sportsman 450, carburated model. I do wish I had gone with the 500 EFI. I put a Dial-a-Jet kit on it. It has AWD, and low range, and there has only been a couple of times I wish I had more power, but that is becuase I put 27" ITP Extreme terrain tires on it and I Need to upgrade the clutch to compensate for the bigger tires. If anything try and get an EFI machine if you can afford it

I fish mostly for channel cats. The best are the 2-3 pounders for eating. I like to fish at night with big nightcrawlers and a glow in the dark bobber. Keeps the bait off the bottom and away from the pesky crawdads. With a 2 pole stamp, I set one up for crappies with minnows, and the other for cats. Kick back in a lawn chair with a lantern (from shore), a few cold ones.....lots of fun!

I believe a person should be allowed to defend their life, regradless of what property they happen to be standing on. I do not like "No carry" zones.
