Those late archery hunts are tough regardless of unit. Its one of those things that you have to find the recope to repeatedly be successful. That's a helluva a bull in general congrats!

You can't drive offroad to retrieve game in 5b...and trying to use woodcut permit is a stupid idea for a loophole when you have a dead bull and tell the warden .... " but i have a word cutting permit"........

Literally throw a dart at your flatline and you can find elk if you look hard enough

I had that mule deer hunt last year and saw one goat over 80 and a ton of antelope in general but only a couple goats that I would consider shooting

That's exactly what happened from my understanding. Shot the bull in the afternoon, then took pics , caped him etc then camped out overnight with the bull till they could safely get him out c the next day

Even at chalk I would have paid you $2/ lb.... wish I would have seen this

I had this tag last year and It was a very humbling hunt. I am no stranger to 21, I saw more bears than I did mule deer bucks but saw well over 100 mule deer. I was searching for a better quality deer but ended up taking a spike at literally the last minute on the last day.
