Had a hunt in unit ten and took my dog with me. We have a place off Esper road in junipine estates and he wondered off and never came back. He's been there before a lot so is familiar with the place. Hoping someone seen him or picked him up. He's all white with a medium build. Extremely fast dog. Has a bird dog look to him. My daughters are really upset. If anyone has any information please call Keith at 623 570 9695. I will gladly give a reward. Thank you.

Just went back up and put fliers out everywhere. It's a small neighborhood in unit ten so I'm positive somebody there has him. Just hope they will be honest. He's a dog anyone would keep and that's what worries me.

SOLD

Also I rather not tell my wife I bought some. I don't want to ruin her surprise in any way at all.

Bought mine online. And with return shipping, insured, and restocking fee it's the same. I don't feel stuck with them. Just offering someone here a discount as I'd lose just about the same returning them. Basically if someone is going to buy a new pair from this sight, I'll save them 100$. And if not then yes I can return them. Just rather help someone here first. It's no smoking deal that much I understand. But 100$ is 100$. I much rather see another local hunter have them then losing money for no reason what so ever.

Ya I lose 100$ but save 13 I guess. Worse part is my gift for her sucks compared to what I got! Time to diamond shop I guess.

Keep catching this one on my camera.

Three spikes in the 70s. Froze out that year and were stuck in for two weeks.

Things your huntin buddies do that drive you nuts : )

I hate when my buddies who have quite often not got the job done tell me,"if I was you this is what I would do"! Good thing I don't listen and always tag out. -
A full year plus I waited to take my buck out of the freezer to let it dry. I hung it high so my dog couldn't reach it. And what would you know he's not as dumb as I thought. He slid a stool over under neath it and commenced to Knaw one tine completely away! Please tell me it's ok to kill him!!

Yes correct. I love my dog. At the end if the day I know it's my fault. I was furious yes but it happens. I'll just have to kill a bigger one now I guess. I'll get it fixed one day. He's a good dog, but still a dog I know. I got a nice elk just last week, so I can't in no way be that upset. The dog was pardoned before he was sentenced. Just a dog being a dog. If animals were to know better I wouldn't of ever killed the deer in the first place. My brothers antlers were right next to mine. Just glad he didn't touch those. I don't know if I could of saved him then.
-
Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure this guy isn't really going to kill his dog. It's just a joke, don't get all worked up people.

I had second thoughts and some minor regrets that I didn't hold out for something bigger. But for two weeks my buddy tried and tried with no success. Today the last day and the rut just never came alive. I am so happy that I made the right decision. Meat is always more important even if I have to remind myself of that sometimes. I say next time I'll try for that monster. But I know myself too well, if that same bull came off that mountain id take him again. Tag soup stays bitter for a long long time!!

My parents own a place in unit 10 and we have a scale for animals we harvest. So we were able to get a full weight before it went to the butcher.

Well I had my bull picked out and this one wasn't him. I went up so many times scouting this bull I almost lived in his living room. I swore he was all mine because all the time I've been up in this bowl I never seen one person. But wouldn't you know it a huge 6x7 was on the front of this range the day before season right off the main road. So opening morning I have a zoo with me. The 6x7 vanishes and no one can get close to my bull after upteen people push him around. But the worse was no bugles. And I mean none! Then rain. It was just pushing all the wrong buttons. So I chose a favorite tank of my friends and when he came over the hill I knew I was going to shoot him. He wasn't a monster I knew but he was nice and had the body of a horse. The reason I shot right when he came in was because the wind was swirling really bad so I let him go down once and let it fly. I've hunted archery a lot and have learned to stay calm. But this bull gave me the fever. It was scary because I saw where I hit and it was a good hit. But no blood at all!! Took about two hours to find him. He didn't bleed because he didn't have much time to. He went all of 300 yards. I saw what looked like an elk but thought it was too big. Well I was wrong. I was amazed at such a young bull would have that weight. 765. Very happy with that. Plus I still get to hunt. My buddy has the same tag and I'm going back up tomorrow. I settled a little but with the lack of talking, the weather, the fact my brother was with me and was going home, and the camera, I had to. And no one has killed my bull. And my niece has the rifle tag for the same unit. We may get him yet.

A few of my dads big bucks from over the years. Believe it or not some of the smaller ones. The good days when you could get drawn every year.
