I am selling my 3 bedroom/2 bath house in beautiful Parks. Sitting in the middle of units 7 & 8 and only minutes from 6B & 10. We see elk regularly in the summer months. Sits on a fully fenced acre. Only asking $139,900. Listed thru Dallas Real Estate, but I thought I would see if any interest on here...

It was put on when it was new. If I remember right they are Winners Choice strings. They are still in great shape and there's nothing wrong with this bow. I just don't use it, but I'm tempted to just keep it as a backup...

Where are you located?

The Depots main mission is making sure the military gets the training they need there. Hunting is not a priority there. There can be some good animals on the Depot, but there are places that the animals know about where people can't go. Just like most things...The grass is greener on the other side of the fence. There is always a chance the base can be shut down to no hunting on the days you plan on hunting too. If you go there with a positive attitude and knowing this you can and will have fun. I've hunted with a leftover tag there before and this year drew an archery bull tag. I would gladly trade that tag, but I just want a chance to hunt. Hope this info helps...

Hunting is part of my religion. The Bible has it in there. The only thing I believe is what comes out of the Bible.

I'm pretty sure this was by a bear after looking closer at the pics. Hope we find the owner. I'm going to look for the spot that it came from.

There are several antler buyers in town. You have to talk with them to see what they'll do. They all say they'll match prices. I had 2 different ones from Craigslist tell me they'd match $10/lb.

Do your homework if you are looking for a cheap outfitter. The good ones charge what they charge for a reason, and they stay booked. The last thing you want is to pay somebody to guide you on your hunt that ruins it for you. Since it sounds like you're not trophy hunting then make sure you are able to spend quality time with your father during the hunt. Have fun and enjoy the hunt...

Great recommendations so far! Remember the good guys fill up fast. I would recommend talking to the outfitters and see who's personality you feel you would have the most fun with. There are some great guys listed as recommendations and they will bust their tails for you, but who will you enjoy being with the most? Don't put so much pressure into the score of the animal, but score your hunt on the incredible experience you'll be able to have. The fun should already have started for you, and will hopefully provide a lifetime of memories. Congratulations and enjoy every minute!
