The first of the month they were rutting. Lately it seems there's no rutting at all going on. This is just what I'm seeing down low. Tomorrow I'm going to try a little higher up.

My yellow lab just turned 12 today. He's an amazing dog! I'm thinking about finding a new puppy for my 2 year old son and was thinking if I got one now my lab would make it easier to help train the puppy. Any suggestions from you all on a good place to start the search? Keep in mind this will be my sons puppy, so temperament is huge. Thank you and happy new year!

I've hunted this unit and have had some bad encounters with mules. Last time I was in there (about 4 yes ago) the BP had definitely made an influence because we only seen 2 illegals versus dozens that we'd usually see. Has anybody been in this unit lately and have a report? Thank you!

The 044 magnums/440 magnums are great saws too and not quite the weight of the big 660. We use them on the fire department here and I've cut some huge snags. We have the 660, but its a beast to handle.
