City workers cut to minimum wage salaries

Thanks Tines...well said! -
OK, just looks like volunteers with that uniform. Here in Coconino county they are called CREC. Not sure what other counties call them. They work with the Forest Service, but as volunteers. They wear that exact uniform.

Is it in Coconino County? I'm trying to see the patch closer.
-
Looks like CREC not Forest Service, but I could be wrong?

I seen one on craigslist in Parks for $200. It was homemade, but appeared to have the bigger tires.

Nice pics John! There's a real nice one not far from your house. Have fun with the camera!

Kaibab Forest Travel Management Plan
anthonyrmatthews replied to cosninocanines's topic in The Campfire
Bill, I do believe this was a national plan passed down from Washington to be implemented. Each forest just chooses how far they want to go with it... -
Hope Brianne recovers quickly. We will be praying for her and your family.

Awesome pics! Congrats!!

Actually, I feel that its unfair to everybody that these new rules were created in the first place. I do believe that the same people that caused the problems will be the same people passing us on closed roads when we are hiking in.
-
Looks like a great deal!

I apologize for that statement. I also took offense to your statement on "my type of thinking". Just as there are people that are not capable of hiking into hunting spots, there are people that can't carry cords of firewood out either. That is not tugging at anybody's heart strings. Its a fact that these new rules directly affect peoples livelihoods.
-
Obviously you are being ignorant of this whole thing and I'm not going to argue with you...
-
Its not just about driving to your spot, or camping next to the road. There are lots of people that need firewood to stay warm in the winter. Where I live you either burn firewood, or pay for propane to be hauled in, which is unaffordable to many. The new rules are just causing good, honest people to have to decide on what they have to do to provide for their families. How can you say that is fair? Are dead trees in the forest considered renewable natural resources? I could argue this point on and on, but I just wanted to point out the fact that there are livelihoods directly affected by these new rules.

This was copied and pasted from another forum. I hope that's OK... "Arizona Revised Statute 17-332(D) authorizes the transfer of big game tags originally issued to grandparents, parents and legal guardians to their minor grandchildren and/or children. It also authorizes big game tags to be transferred to non-profit organizations for transfer to minors with life threatening illnesses. This statute is permissive in nature rather than restrictive, and the overall intent was to further encourage and facilitate the Department's hunter recruitment and retention goals by getting children into the field. Arizona Revised Statute 17-332(D) requires that after the tag is transferred, a parent, legal guardian, or grandparent must accompany the child into the field. There is some confusion in regards to whether the statutory intent was that the parent, legal guardian, or grandparent must be the adult that accompanies the child on the hunt. Legislative staff indicates this was not the intent of the legislature and that any parent or legal guardian (or any grandparent if the tag was transferred from a grandparent) should be allowed to accompany the child on the hunt. I hope that this helps clarify, please let me know if you have any further questions. Thanks!" Kellie Tharp Education Branch Chief Arizona Game & Fish Department"
