Had to send 2 leupolds in my self. Sent in one vortex, 2 Burris. Have yet to find the perfect scope. But if a fall and break a scope it will be one with a vortex warranty. I will never buy anything over a $500 with out it again.

possibly arrow weight as well. it will say on the shafts.

I sold my leupolds to get burris sold the burris to get the vortex i have had a diamondback, diamondback HP, 2 vipers , razor 5-20, saving up now for the viper gen2 4.5-27. Only had problems with the originall diamondback it had slopy turrets. But a trip back and it was perfect. After a fall I tealy do not want to spend another 1500 like I had to with my buriss.

Sounds like its time to set up a blind and fill a couple tags. Hope you get your stuff back I'll let my friends know to keep eyes open.

I'm working on replacing my scopes with vortex. They work great. And the warranty can't be beat. I have broken a few grand of other scopes through the years. And with vortex I can use them without babying them. Or I cold use them as a hammer and still be coverd. Right now if you look around you can find razor gen 1 5-20 for just a bit more than a viper pst. Either way they are well worth it.

Welcome aboard Savage. I don't live up that way but you should find plenty of people around who do on here.

I find short stabs hold my wrist strap and absorb vibralions. but the longer ones over 8 inches realy seem to help my distance shooting. It realy is a lever that prevents a bit of torque and bow jump the longer it is the better it stops it. Take a pencil and wiggle the far end back and forth, now try the same with a broom. You can see how the longer the lever the more work it takes . Best way is to try a few out and see what you think of them.

I had a razor 5x20 and I loved it, will probably get another one now that there down to 1300-15 most places. I may just save up for a razor gen2 4.5x27 mrad for my 300win. the viper would be g8od on my 270 and 06 though for regular hunting.

I'd be all over it for that price. I've been wanting one for my 270. So you can't go wrong.

I've thought about it, been doing some research. But have not yet attempted it. It looks like it would be fun. And the thrill of hunting with one you built would be awsome.

Are you putting your arrows in a good group even if it is not where you are aiming?

I hate calipers I went spotthog it has the hook. Have 4 of them now and do not plan to ever need another.

I ueed rages, after a javi hunt I decided they were a bit to easy to pop open and fragile during and after impact. After some trials I went gravedigger. Both coc and chizel tips. Wow they are tough and reliable. Its all I use in my wheelbows now.

A good az ez fletch for vanes and a blitzenburg for feathers. That's about all I ever use.

I do a guess how many steps to something. Animals or a car or even to a crack in the sidewalk. My average step is right at a 3 foot stride. So it works well.

Last MR7 I saw was loaded and only 600 so not bad for a ready to hunt. Just have to keep looking.

Look for a used mathews MR7 with the A mod instaled thats a 32 inch draw. And should be reasonable priced.
