I had a chance to look through the vortex 1500 and the kilo at sportsman's. The kilo is by far inferior in glass clarity. It was not even close on the ranging ability I had the kilo out to 2800 on a tree free handed! All In All I have a kilo ordered and excited to get it!

Saw a couple with with some great growth in 22. Can't wait to see how one in particular fills out. Then he has to survive all the hunts because I have the late rifle tag...

My badlands did the trick when mine was still little! After that I picked up a cheap one from the thrift store. If you have the money I would go for a nicer one mine carries like crap.

Cool thing about caltopo.Com is its like Google share! You can take a map mark it up, put a password on it and share it with your hunting partner. They can also add to it to make a supermap. I have a map for each unit and each species!

I'm all about online maps! I mark everything and have everything memorized so when I go out its deja vu. I like using caltopo.Com and Google Earth

Looking for the viper HS-T I would rather the 6x24 but would consider the 4x16.

Due to shoulder injury I'm looking for something less punishing. To the best of my knowledge it has around 200 rounds through it. Comes with 120 once fired nickel cases and 20 brass.

It function flawlessly but has marks on it from hunting, all of them are shown in the pics. I do get to the east valley often and would be willing to meet there sometime.

When going to a new area I spend a few hours online looking at maps to learn the lay of the land. I find the best spots to glass from, depending on what I see deturmans how long I stay. If I'm not seeing anything in the first 20-60 minutes time depending on how much there is to glass I'll move on to the next spot.

I have used this as a hunting rifle and has the marks to to show. Rifle functions flawlessly and comes with a sight mark 8-24x50 scope.

First off, for me this guy is a total shooter! I'm just wondering a rough estimate of what he would score. Can't wait till January to chase him!!

Unfortunately I was only able to snap a couple of crappy pics before he went over the ridge. It looked like he had a small sticker on his g2 and I never got a good look at his left side. This also makes me want to buy an adapter to attach my dsl camera to my spotter.
