How long do you sit?
border hunter replied to AzDiamondHeat's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
On hot hunts ill glass high low till 11 or 12. I like covering lots of ground from 12-3ish looking in all the shady spots. Than its back to a high spot for the evening. -
Also, before your hunt find the phone number for a Border Patrol Station near by. The more eyes looking the better!

It could be worse your whole camp could be gone... things are getting out of hand.

Wanting to see how the 200s shoot but not wanting to buy a whole box. Also willing to pay a few bucks for some 200s. -
I use a leather belt holster. My pack forums right around it without any issues. I have also dispatched more than a few animals with it. The best shot is a high neck as to not waist any meat.

I just bought new awning poles to extend my awning 20' Google has let me down on finding a good tarp online. Which brand and colors do you like for providing cool shade from the az heat?

I was thinking of doing the same thing with the advertising tarp! How was it installing the grommets? Also do you feel the vinyl makes it hotter than a normal tarp? -

Thanks for the input so far. Seems I got some more research to do. Its crazy how little comes up on google for saddle planners.

Different tags for the wife and I. She does NOT enjoy hiking all day in the back county but I always enjoy her hunts! They are laid back and enjoyable. Like others have said its all about her when shes done we go back and hang out. When she wants to shoot the first spike she sees thats what happens... even on a late December tag.

Caltopo is great for sharing maps with family and seeing glassing points! I also use google earth. Cool shots of the planes!
