I did your recipe with an elk roast off my bull from this year. Was awesome! Thanks for the idea.

I know right.......you just want them back? Lol I didn't think it would be this hard to sell them when I found something else I wanted.
-
That's a great deal! Wish I wasn't trying to sell stuff or I'd be all over it.
-
Bump. Will also consider partial trades.

I have a buddy that mentioned selling his x-bolt for I think $625.
-
Wish I had the funds or I would have bought it to do the same thing. Dang taxidermy fund is killing me.
-
Check out my leupold scope add. If you see something you like maybe we can work a deal. I can let you borrow one to be successful if needed also. Its exciting for a junior to fill a tag.

I don't care who is right or wrong as long as somebody want's my dark "green" ones. NOT BLACK.......will be repaired in USA if you break them. Lol
-
My SLC 10x42 were black but those were the only ones I had seen like that.
-
Guess I didn't double check where I was typing. The binos are dark green, the case is black. I don't think I've seen black 15's either. Ill get some pictures up shortly.

Best thing I've seen on here in a while. Made me laugh! Thanks for posting that.

Doesn't hurt to buy a tag! Prime example....... My brother walked up on one yesterday while scouting for deer and shot it at 5yds.

That thing is freaking awesome! I wish! -
I shot the flex tip loads out of it from Hornady and it's maybe like a 223. Accurate enough to consistently hit a 8" steel plate at 100yds. Probably shot about 4-5" group.

I'd either use the hide like a blanket or a tarp (light and fit easily in a pack when needed). Same thing everyone uses for antelope in sage country to keep the meat from tasting like the local bushes.

Could load 150 partitions for the 270

I couldn't really find anything in him. Does he have a shop? Or do you have contact info?

I prefer the 7s for elk, that being said......the rifles you have will work just fine. It all comes down to how well your rifle is shooting and where you put the bullet. People kill elk with 243 all the time. Just have to know your effective range. My first bull was with my 270, then a cow with a 7 mag, a bull with the 7stw, then a bull with my bow, and another bull with 7stw. You will shoot better with a gun you are comfortable and have confidence in than you will with a gun you hate the recoil on.

Ruger Precision Rifle NIB 6.5 creedmoor Gen 2 $2850

They are heavy! Especially for hunting, i know because mine was used for my deer and my wifes deer last year. But they are tack drivers. Price sucks on these things but they look awesome and shoot awesome. The nice thing is being able to use AR grips, handguards, scope mounts....etc. that being said this guy is definitely high on his price if he's serious. -
Wow, I bet that was exciting (I could barely keep it together at 43 yds on a spike last year). Congrats to a young hunter getting it done. Great bull, awesome experience!
-
Great for you guys. Awesome looking bull.
-
Dang, that sucks. Im guessing it's a nice bull.
