I think Scotty put it about as nice and honestly as has been said. Mike you are a long time, respected member of this forum and I feel for you but with your experience reading topics like this in the past you should have expected the responses to your topic you are receiving You have 4 choices as I see it: 1.Stand your ground and pray it turns out the way you want. 2.Post the pictures and someone will either say they know him or not and it will start falling into the past. 3.Step up to the pump and say you do not have pictures and was using that as a tool to flush the thief out and return your camera. I have nothing to base that on other than reading human nature, I AM NOT IMPLYING. 4.Ask Amanda to delete the whole topic. Good luck my friend amen on this post! lame! you are assuming, and have faith in the good of people.... but your wrong and your getting your hopes up for nothing..... even when people get caught they never actually admit to it.... If u ask any person in jail, if they are guilty not one person would say yes! So why assume some doucher is gonna come clean over a crumby trail cam! Get with it man... +1

great write up and pictures snapshot! I have been there many times and spent many summers on the grammer ranch down in the bottom of Juan Miller earning my summer money. Brings back many memories thanks again for sharing. There are some monter deer in them hills!

If you want my 2 cents on this topic the pictures need to be posted or don't even put this on the thread...We get the same posts year after year about people losing their cameras. It sucks you have to put 2 cameras up in a place one for game and another for thieves, but if you are one of the lucky ones to get a picture of the stealing post the picture and get the pictures out there this way others will know that people are getting smarter about this and they maybe on camera if they decide to try and steal one. I feel your pain as I have had one taken also but I can assure you if I had a picture of the dude that thing would be on every hunting thread on the web!!!!!

I completely agree with this....My grandpa is 82 yrs old and is an Arizona resident, and I garuntee he has more miles on unit 27 than all of us on this site put together. He is also a member of every hunting organazation there is plus attends every azgf meeting he can yet he has NEVER drawn a premium hunt and has only drawn a late november hunt 3 times!

lol I have a family member like that also, and I would rather take on bigfoot than hunt4horns after a good night of fun!

great post and pictures....What an amazing deal for you.. my old man has something very similiar only with a big ol bull...Put some nutrition out there for the him, and hopefully the lions stay away but getting as old as he is I can only imagine how smart he is...Congrats to you on what an ordeal and I hope he makes it through the summer for you

Red Rabbit, you are right I am not sure there is a way to make things better, I guess some people just have all the luck.....All I know is I am not going to lose all my bonus points for a cow hunt...guess we will give r heck again next year and hope to end the drought.. As long as someone in the family gets drawn thats all that matters....

well 10 yrs and still no tag for me so I just booked a trip to Vegas hope my luck changes up there I am with hunt4horns I got lots of stuff for sale or maybe I should just give it away

I'm sorry to say, but most people who complain about the draw really don't understand exactly how each part of the draw works. I have to agree with our draw system. The way it is designed, if you really want to draw a premium hunt, you can eventually be guaranteed a tag if you wait long enough to be in the max point pool. On the other hand, it does not require max points as you can obviously get lucky and draw a tag in the second round of the draw (random draw), such was the case with your buddy who drew with 0 points. Your friends with 11 and 12 points obviously put in for hunts where those amounts of points aren't in the max point pool, therefore putting there chances the same as everyone else in the general random draw (second round). I'm definately not saying that game and fish is perfect. I can go on for hours how I think they could make improvements, especially involving their "hunt structures" focused on more "hunter opportunity". But as far as the draw system, I think it's pretty good. sorry but to post a comment like this you either have to work for the GF department in the draw side or you are one of the lucky ones who draws every 2 yrs....
