I was asking about the 6b spring bear hunt an was told there hasn't been a bear killed in spring hunt last 5 years, not sure how true that is. But the fire screwed up the aug hunt last year I call 2 bear in 3 sets and this year 7 sets and only one bobcat. But the acorns were not ripe an with no pears bc higher elevarion or grass from the back burn they weren't around. Hopeing archery bear still open during archery elk

Use a fawn on distress this last weekend with that call and my primos fawn decoy called in like 7 different deer. Then you can hunt doe and lion same time lol

A fine for shooting a sow (female bear) ? Lol ok not every one will be looking at bears in a tree. glassing across a canyon or calling one in how many hunters would be able to tell? For the houndsman they have the time to look a bear over yes, but wouldn't be a real logical fine
