I finally got my Goulds tag, Steve! And, if its any kind of consolation, I've got the annual deck of cards for the Governor's Tag Raffle, or I'll have them shortly, at least! I swear. 23 points for turkey and nothing showing on my card. I missed one application 10 years ago and Im still paying for it. Hopefully the max point pool finally drops down to my level. I cant afford to go to Mexico for my Goulds.

The results came in an email to me. They typically post it on the website. I watched the live feed, the committee made it very entertaining. They actually called a guy who was watching when they drew his name. He was pretty happy. I was surprised as half the folks called seemed clueless about how GREAT of a "prize" they had won. Not one poor slob east of the Mississippi was drawn... The dude from Oregon with the elk tag was my favorite. He like a few of the other winners was out fishing when he got the call. HE realized what he had; and he said every time he got an email from them he would just send in another $100 :-)

What assumptions? Everything's pretty straightforward on the portals. Just waiting for results Assumptions if you drew choice #1 or choice #2. I had to do a paper app so am anxious as all get out for the portal to be updated.

I talked with AZGFD yesterday about my portal. They made it sound like all the assumptions will be put to rest at some point next week.

I'm jealous of all of you that KNOW...I had to do a paper app so the unknown is gnawing at me. Come on portal!

I'm a non resident. I have my loyalty point and Hunter Ed point. I have 22 points after the draw that was just conducted. I've tried to find the max points. I know I have missed one draw due to my own stupidity but I fear I am two behind max rather than one for some reason. Does anybody know or could you point me in the right direction? I want hunt Goulds and I do not want to do it in Mexico. Thank you.

Well, I normally donate for the optics and a few of the super tags every year. I don't think they are rigged and I'm certainly not going to win if I don't buy a ticket... IA--I will definitely be contacting you for a few cards. I'm really looking forward to putting my hands on one of those big white tipped tail feathered gobblers. Who knows, my AZ Merriams led me to an elk hunting spot that produced a really nice longbow bull for me. Maybe the Goulds will point me somewhere I can use my 10 deer points to kill a big Coues buck?

Good luck to you all. I'm a NR with 21 points. I've got a son graduating high school this year and am out of vacation. So I will be going into next spring's draw with 23 points. I think I may actually be able to start planning my Goulds hunt.

Red, If you decide to go the saddle route I have an Ambush Tree Saddle setup that is basically new. Saddle, bridge, steps setup for top platform, etc. They are a lightweight quiet stand setup that keeps you well camouflaged.

There is a new model coming out. 2200 yard rangefinder that does angle compensation twice as far as current. Also upgrading the "click" and moa part of the unit. Current is 2000 yards on the rangefinder. I've been playing with a current one for the last week or so. The are incredibly impressive pieces of equipment.

Saw a whitetail hunt up in SK on TV. The two big bucks featured were killed in such dramatic fashion I emailed the host about what bullets were used ELD-X. I'm going to do some load development!

I sent an email to get information on this class a couple months ago and never got a response back. My wife and I are planning on being in Scottsdale for a week next winter and would like to get details on where/how this class works. Is it best to call him?

Congrats from a NR with TWENTY points. Was out of the country and did not remember my app LONG ago :-( Someday soon I will be in the Max pool!
