I think you would put a coues tag on that deer you would be in serious trouble. The darker cape and ears are all muley. The white ring by the nose does look some like a whitetail. I'd say its just a young muley. I have seen lots of muleys with antlers like that.

Wow!, that is one nice looking buck. Nice cape too. -
I have a bunch. How much are you looking for?

What ever happened with this? Anyone know?

Would you consider selling just the hard top?
-
Do you have any with the mil dot reticle?
-
You might want to look at vortex also. I have the Viper with bdc. I like it a lot better than the nikon. Those big circles cover up too much for me.

How do I calculate my odds for a hunt? I have 2 bonus points. I forget how to calculate my first and second point chances. If the hunt is, say 75% draw odds and I have two points. My two points is only really going to help if I am in the top bonus point group right? Besides having two chances in the initial pull. So is it incorrect to say that I have 150% chance to draw? If I have a 3 out of 4 chance two times that is still 6/8 or 75% chance. But I don't think that fairly represents my odds. What about my second choice if it is 80% draw? Someone review this with me. Being up at school in another state is making me forget this stuff. You know its bad when you cant remember main streets in the valley anymore! Thankfully i'll be back soon for good.

I have messed with that but I don't think its correct. The draw odds printed in the Deer Regs don't give me the same percentage as MM does. MM odds with zero bonus points and resident should give me the same odds as the regs, right?, but they don't match.

Cass Creek Predator Caller and Speaker
CouesFanatic replied to CouesFanatic's topic in Classified Ads
ttt $45 now -
Up for sale is the Cass creek predator caller and speaker. Here are the links: http://www.dickssportinggoods.com/product/...oductId=3040422 http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/template...rset=ISO-8859-1 They work great, and I have only used it once. I don't do much coyote hunting so these are just sitting. Both are in good shape. The caller has the corner of the sticker coming up a little bit. As you can see on the links above the caller runs 32 and the speaker runs 40. 32+40=$72 plus tax $50 through paypal and I will ship it to your door. I pay shipping.

Cool find! I had a turtle walk across the archery range out at Usery Pass. You don't see them very often.

Heres the deal. I shot a 345 bull that I did a euro on. I have the cape dry tanned sitting here at home. I have a taxidermist friend who is willing to mount the bull at cost for me. But I'm not sure if I should mount the bull or sell the cape and do it in a few years. My problem is that I live in a 900 square foot apartment. I already have a 367 bull and 2 Coues on the wall. I'm in college and will be moving in the next year or two. I really don't want to mount the bull with a different cape, but I've been told my cape will loose its stretch and will be hard to mount in a few years when I have more money to put into it. Should I mount it? or should I sell the cape? How much is the cape gunna sell for? Here is the bull:

Thanks for the response. Also I'm only 24. I'm pretty sure I'll kill a bigger one sometime down the road. But I did kill both with my dad there.

So I posted a month or so ago about a new scope for my 300 ultra mag. I ended up with the Vortex Viper 4-12x40. It looks nice. I'll have to put up some pics sometime. I've always shot a regular quadra-plex scope zero'd at 300 and guess at the hold over. But this new scope has turrets and bdc. I was planning on just using the bdc but after some reading it sounds like turrets is the way to go. What would you guys suggest as far as zeroing? Is there any way I can use the turrets and bdc? If I needed to do a quick shot without changing the turrets could I still use the bdc? Does everyone zero at 100 and just crank the turret up to the yardage they are shooting? I'm new with this stuff, so advice is needed. By the way, I have a 18A antelope tag this year and a Utah mule deer tag so this gun is going to get broke in fast!

What unit is your tag in? I might have the same one but rifle. We should compare notes later on if it is. 18A?
