I know its not much, but like the title states, it made my day! I checked my camera today and I got 2 jackrabbits chasing each other at night then a coyote the next morning (my first whole pic of a coyote, I kept getting halves, so this means a lot to me) and then one more jack..... the coyote seems to notice my camera, and is in a cool pose, I think he is following the jackrabbits scent from overnight, but he is going the wrong way..... the covert strikes again!!! as always, thanks for lookin'!

it was many years before I was born, I think 1991, but he passed on a couple 8 years olds and ended up shooting a 12 year old, he didn't score much. my dad tells me that he shot this ram because it walked down the hill really slow and it looked like a 100 year old person trying to walk down a steep hill. PICS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! here they are, it was when he was a studdly young man. sorry for the low quality pics, the actual hard copies are great.

Woman Stops Bear Attack With .25 Caliber Pistol
PatrickJr replied to bowhuntaz1's topic in The Campfire
my dad told me a story once, that I was reminded of when I read some of the previous posts, he was in Alaska during the story. He was with a buddy and 2 of his buddy's buddies. 1 of the buddies my dad wasn't very fond of because he purposefully gutshot a caribou in order to save the mane. it ran off and was found 3 days later and it was green, but anyways, he didn't like the guy. during the hunt, they were in grizzly territory, so they would carry a gun on them at all times. one day, around the campfire, the guy my dad didn't like, asked a really stupid question, "how many bullets do we have, total, to kill a bear if one were to charge us??????" and so my dad explained to him really slow that if all 4 of them had revolvers that can hold 6 cartridges in them, that they would have 23 "bullets" to kill a charging grizzly bear. well the guy said "well if he has 6, and he has 6, and I have 6, and you have 6, isn't that 24?" (he remembered that he passed elementary school) and my dad said " well, you see, he has 6, he has 6, you have six, and I have 5" and so the guy asked why my dad only has 5 if his gun has 6 cartridges in it. my dad then explained that "if his 6, his 6, your 6, and my 5 doesn't kill a charging grizzly bear, then I will put MY 6TH cartridge in the back of your leg, because I don't have to outrun a charging bear, all I have to outrun is you!" well after the hunt, all the way back to basecamp, that guy walked behind my dad.... -
my dad recently told me a really cool story, here it is.... He said that one day he walked to his mailbox and saw 3 blue letters and 1 pink. he walked up to his apartment and set the letters on the table thinking that he drew elk, lope, and deer but didn't draw sheep (back before they split up the draws) so he just went on with what he had to do. I don't know how much longer later, but it must have been at least a couple hours. so he sits down and opens up the pink one first and it says that he did not draw lope. then it occurred to him, HE DREW SHEEP. this was only his 2nd year putting in for sheep and his 1st choice was 33 and 2nd was 45b and he drew his 2nd choice. I figured that I would share that because I thought it was pretty cool.....

this was me on Monday, now I am just disgusted. I cant understand why they wont just say the date that the results will be out. I would then be at peace, It wouldn't bother me if they called me and told me that I didn't draw, as long as it was legit, I would then be at peace, but that will never happen.

Look into Ultra Precision Rifles(located in Tucson), call them up and ask for Brian, it is $25 a gun last time I was in there a couple weeks ago. you can even drop my name if you need to. The store is located on Oracle, near Roger. Good luck! -
And my dad and I went to the Wisconsin- Asu game earlier this year and we had DRUNK ASU fans yelling at us " I am going to f***ing kill you" and "go back to your land of cheese-eating fag**ts"........ so don't act like you ASU guys are any better......there will always be idiots and a**holes at any form of sports game, you just have to learn to ignore them, I ignored those ASU fans, and I had a good time until the refs screwed up the game, but I got over that as well. If you don't like the people at the games, watch the game at home.

Gotcha....I now see you live in the Midwest...

Heck, if he drew the tag, more power to him, I just think that he should at least hunt a cow before he jumps to a bull so that he will appreciate the bull even more. I blame you for killing to many big bulls and hanging them on your wall so that he sees them everyday......
