I have the early September 6B archery bull hunt. I have been doing a ton of scouting and have found many big Bulls and a ton of cows. Just wondering what everyone else is seeing?! I heard the Bulls bugling 2 weekends ago before light and the cows going crazy to. Has anyone else heard elk up there? Has the right started hearing up? Thanks Christian

I was deer hunting in 6B on the opening weekend and saw a ton of deer and a huge 4 point. They are in there! Best of luck to you man!

I will be up in 6A this weekend for the second weekend of the junior hunt. I was wondering if anyone has had any luck there yet? Are they still gobbling or just hanging up when they get off the roost? Hope everyone is having a great turkey season it's been a ton of fun. Sweet I'm glad to hear that they are still gobbling. I'm prepared to sit for a while if I can kill. I think they have been henned up for a while which is surprising. Are they coming back around to your calls later in the day?

I'm not sure about that. That could be a possibility. While I was on the junior hint on the first weekend they were on fire on Friday and Saturday and then on Sunday they were silent across the whole entire unit. Even in 5A and 5B so I'm not sure. Could also have to be do to the weather and the changing temps each day. Also this is the later stage of the breeding season so it could be winding down. Christian

I was fortunate enough to be able to go out shed hunting yesterday with a friend. We hiked all day in the heat. As we were heading back I was hiking side by side with a buddy when he looked down I kept looking up and spotted one brown shed and as we got closer I saw that it was a set. They were about 5 feet from each other. We started around 10 oclock and got back to the trucks around 4:15. This was all that we found all day but well worth it. This was only the third time out and this was my first brown and it made it that much more sweet that it ended up being a set. Thanks again Joel.
