I shot a wby. for several years, now its a habit to keep a box of shells in the glove box, one in the pack and two in the rifle case. Cant find find those in small rural stores. Now I shoot a 270.

The tent is about 8 years old, but I kept it stored in the house. There are ZERO holes in it, and it is like new. Without a stove you might fit 6 in there. With a stove and gear bags, and storming 3 to 4 comfortably if you have bunk cots. When its just my son and I there is plenty of room. By myself it takes about 15 to 20 minutes to set it up, fully staked out.

Without the floor a 10 x 12 isnt bad by yourself. I bet that floor makes it real heavy.

This may help you decide. The one below is about the same space as your present tent. For myself I like a tent so we can camp deeper into an area, places a trailer cant go.
