Anyone try the Nosler LRAB? If so how far have you shot them? Have you taken any game with them? I am mostly interested in the .284 caliber for 280 AI, I want to try the 168 gr. LRAB and retumbo.

Even with chains you wont make it. By closing the hwy they are reducing the fatality rate and saving money/time pulling all those dumb drivers out that dont even have 4x4. People will try to get though with a compact car and bald tires. Then the Hwy gets so loaded up with jack knifed 18 wheelers, mini vans , compact cars and people with 4x4 s that think they can drive 55+ in the ice and snow then they cant plow the road due to all the stranded motorist. ^^^^^^^

The deer looked just fine. I knew about CWD so I waited for the test results to come back, I also wear gloves when skinning my animal.

I harvested a deer in Colorado with CWD. I was about 1.5 miles from the truck and had to navigate a 900 foot cliff to get in and out so I could legally access the public land only to learn my deer tested positive. They ask me to donate it as they were feeding the contaminated meat to a captive mountain lion for study. They gave me $50 dollars since I cut and wrapped my own meat.
