I thought those who believe in their second amendment rights would be interested in knowing who is or isn't supporting those rights. http://www.gunsamerica.com/blog/tim-mcgraw-headlining-event-to-raise-money-for-gun-control-organization/

Growing A Spine One At A Time

Most of the comments I find to keep those who wish to due harm to others in a gun free zone, believe that taking away all firearms will keep this tragedy from ever happening again. It is good to see something done to deter those from entering a school. There are many teachers or educators who are also veterans, allowing them to carry a concealed weapon is an also an option. I also believe hiring retired LEO to work at all schools as guards would also work very well. -
The K Hornet with a 35 gr. V-MAX is hard to beat, it will drop coyotes hard, but wont blow up a bobcat. Good hunting!

Oh yes remote water sources are much different than those within driving distance. I have found at about the 1 to 2 mile range ( or more) may get rid of 90% or more of the hunters depending on terrain. If there is another hunter sitting a water source we move on, or set up an ambush far from the source, we always avoid a conflict. Good luck.

All other factory loads are pail in comparison to Weatherbys factory ammo, just use heavy for caliber loads. 180 to 200 grain bullets will work best.

The best way to avoid waterhole issues for myself, is I don't hunt on water. My son and I have hunted an early season unit many times and when we pull up to a water hole there are 1 to 4 trucks parked within 30 yards of a water source I always get out check for sign, and then we begin to hunt for an ambush site. This were many fail due to an inability to read game sign and terrain. The stand may be a mile away from the water source, but we never sit on water. My son has been very successful using this tactic. His first deer was taken about 3/4 of a mile from a trick tank that had several trucks (I think they were parked 24/7) on it daily, plus ATV traffic, and while I was sitting in camp waiting to hear him shoot (I didn't have a tag), I never heard a single shot fired from that water hole. Problem solved.

For a Savage long action I would think about a Boyd s Laminate, and pillar and gas bed it. Money saved? $100 for the stock and about 250 to bed it, unless you do that yourself. You have to bed the other stocks anyway. -
I didnt harvest the this bear thats why its for sale.

Thank you!

Nice! -
Good to know. I have never heard that. Maybe that is one of the biggest reasons they say nickel cases do not last very long. I know most people have the necks split after a few loadings. Great info! Split necks was my experience with nickel cases, the cases didnt last as long as brass.

I think that would be a 770. You don't want one of those You really looking for an 30-06 for a youth hunter? That is what I shoot and my shoulder is not happy with me after a range trip. Have you considered 7mm-8? Nope! those are Remington 700s, I know the difference. Union Hills and the 101 wal-mart has a 3006 ADL SYN. blued, as of one week ago, I have also seen a 223 for the same price. My last rem. 700 had a 26in. #3 pac-nor,7mm mag, titanium firing pin, action trued, brown precision stock, pillared and glass bedded and timney trigger, dual dove tail mounts and Leopold scope.I put this one together with my choice of components.

You can get a Remington 700 in a 3006 spr. at wal-mart for 377.00,
