I have read alot of good things about the 4 dog stoves! I'm just on the fence if it's worth an extra $200 if im only going to use it 2-3 times a year. Maybe I cam find a used one. I have the Camp Chef stove and it works just fine, fill it up and adjust the inline damper or the the one on the front of the stove. If you want more spark protection you may try a spark arrestor from the wall tent shop, I have dealt with them in the past and they are GTG. http://www.walltentshop.com/collections/wood-camp-stove-parts/products/in-line-spark-box-arrestor

Thanks for the input, I like the idea of the gas block staying pinned which I didn't think about when buying a gas block. -

The barrel is new, a CHF FN, the same barrel they put on the M 249. I have a UTG SLIM 13 inch handgaurd, Back up iron sights and a small scope. Thanks for the input. -

The gas block will have to come off if he ever wants to change handguards. Might as well do it right the first time. There are jigs you can buy to dimple the barrel but im not sure if you will have the real estate for it since it was pinned. I have seen plenty of factory rifles that didn't have dimpled barrels and a bunch of clamp on blocks that hold their position. Just torque appropriately and use blue locktite. My slim free floating hand guard wont allow me to keep the A2 sight without cutting the bottom swivel and bayonet lug off, did you have to cut the bottom off your sight as well? -

Did you use a jig to dimple the barrel? -
Hope you get it back. A friend of mine lost his Swarovskis in the Matazels a very long time ago, he was inside the wilderness about 11 to 12 miles on the west side.

UPS will also want a signed copy of the FFL you send it to. And a copy of your drivers license inside the box for the receiving FFL. With the nice wood, and quality scope and mounts those guys will grab it right up. -

You may consider placing it for sale on rimfire central, I sold one of my 452 s and it was gone the first day I posted it. It will cost about 30 to 35 dollars to ship/insure it across the country and it must be shipped from a UPS hub. Good luck with your sale. http://www.rimfirecentral.com/forums/vbclassified.php -
I have to go out of town for a week, but you can send a pm and I will respond as soon as I get back. Thanks

I just bought these but had already developed plantar fasciitis, and needed a half size larger to fit an insole for a high arch. They have a very roomy toe box, soft thick leather and are very comfortable. They only have about 10 miles on them, and put two coats of OBENAUFS heavy duty LP on them. I paid 199.00 plus shipping. The reviews are accurate. $150.00 for the boots size 10.5 http://www.sierratradingpost.com/alico-ultra-hiking-boots-waterproof-for-men~p~8449n/

I dont have that shelter, but a four man and the quality is excellent. I wanted more room and the ability to stand up, and it has screen doors.
