Does "established campsite" mean a named campground on the map where you pay to stay and it has the restrooms and all that? Or does an preexisting campsite that already has a fire pit in place when I get there meet that definition as well?

If you said something inside my house that I don't like, I could hand you a $2 million fine, and you could likely walk out with little consequence. However, if you had to post a $5 million deposit to walk inside my house and signed a contract agreeing to certain terms of conduct while a guest on my property, you may or may not have an easy time getting that money back if there is a dispute. here's to wondering if Kalifornia (People's Republic of) will levy felony charges that it seems as though she committed. I have a few pairs of binos, including a pair of 10x50s and I don't use them much. I prefer 10x for most of Arizona but in a 32 or 42mm objective lens. I have a full size spotter and have my hesitations about the wisdom in investing in a compact spotter. Last year I killed a 140" muley in an easy to draw unit that had road hunters swarming like sharks in the sea. There was even an RV camp of hunters less than 1,000 yards from where this bachelor herd was going back and forth in the brush. All of which I could easily pattern and they had no clue about. That's the value in powerful optics. I don't see how a compact spotter is going to pick that up. Even though I spend more time behind my binoculars than my spotter, if you can only afford HD quality optics in one, make it in the spotting scope. I'd rather not waste time carrying the weight of a non HD spotter. The higher magnification of the spotting scope will amplify imperfections in the glass such as lateral color fringing that make determining a buck from a doe difficult at 1,500+ yards, if you can see them at all.

So, looks like there are under 400 Mexican gray wolves left. Not 4000, not 40000... 400. in the whole world, 400. What if we rounded up all the wild ones left and put them back in captivity. Then let them slowly die off due to inbreeding and what not caused by keeping then penned up. That would keep our game animal populations safe wouldn't it? As hunters, we are all members of the original conservationists group. Without out efforts (and money) game animal populations probably would not be in the shape they are currently. That being said who here is ok with helping to contribute to the complete extinction of a species? Is that what we want? To wipe them off of the face of the planet forever? I don't know what the answer and I don't want my game animal populations decimated, but I sure as heck don't want to be associated with helping to kill off a species. I don't want to see any species of wolves completely extinct. However, keep in mind that sampling and surveying wolves is a tough topic. We may only know of 400, but the actual number is likely higher than that. They're not like surveying a herd of elk on the winter range.

Some on here seem like they're foaming at the mouth, continually hitting refresh or redial in order to pester and clog AZGFD's website to try to be the first to find out when results will be posted. Not sure how many of you would like dealing with such people at your place of work but my guess is not many. They say results will be available by April 18th and we know it is usually a few days sooner than that. My guess is that if people keep harassing them then they will get fed up and won't release the results until the posted date. Even though it looks as though I drew a tag, I'm fine waiting for the results. I don't need to know RIGHT NOW. After waiting several years to pick up a good tag it seems a bit manic and spastic to be jumping up and down about getting info about your tag a few days earlier. Just my $0.02.

Exactly. This is entitlement mentality that belongs on the side of the earth worshiping, flag burning liberals. We're better than that. I can careless when the results come out. I know I have a tag for 1 of 2 units. I would never call G&F and ask when the results will be out and I feel people that do call are wasting their time, they will never get a strait answer. So when do you think the results will be out? They aren't just wasting their own time, they're wasting G&Fs time by calling them. Then they're wasting the time of the next hunter who calls in with a legitimate question as the G&F rolls their eyes and thinks to themselves "great, another toolbag elk hunter... what does this one want?" I think I would be concerned if I don't hear of results by April 18th, so that is my guess. Arizona already has the 2nd earliest drawing and results in the west, I'll find out in good time where my 370" dreams will be pursued.
