Pits are great dogs--until they're not. If I leave a fully loaded Ak-47 on my countertop it won't in a million years start destroying stuff without an idiots intervention. To assume that a pit bull or any other dog is capable of the same discipline is incredibly myopic and foolish.

OP: Why haven't you offered to go over with a shovel and level the neighbors yard out yourself? Sure, you "shouldn't have to" do this, but it is by far the most amicable solution I can envision. I have kids in my back yard and the second time I see a pit stick his head over the wall he's going to have a .40 caliber headache an instant later. Because they want attention. Same jackwagons who will open carry an Ak-47 in a children's park as a political statement and then jump up and down in their basement when open carry of long guns gets prohibited. I would first offer to level the yard for the neighbor. if this didn't work I would consider this option. probably less likely to wind you up in court than a gunshot in a neighborhood.

Maybe the G&F should just 'like' everyone with a tag on FB, and they could get their harvest results that way.

A crew of gated-community thugs who live under protection of armed body guards pitched in the big bucks to mislead the masses. Their target? Private gun sales. With the Sheeple coming out in force to vote in legalizing marijuana on the same ballot, Initiative 594 passed with 60% of the vote. Now in Washington State, if you want to sell a gun privately, or even hand a gun to your buddy temporarily, a background check must be completed lest you become a criminal in the eyes of the law. Today in The Examiner a freedom hater spilled the beans about their true intentions about 594: registration. Yes, that is the next step--registration. That way we know who owns what gun and who doesn’t. It’s a no brainer. Little steps. We will get there and hopefully reduce the abismal (sic) gun violence statistics that Amerca (sic) has compared to other 1st world nation. Thankfully most of us aren't so daft and myopic to never mind the infringements on the freedoms of other Americans. Moreover, some including myself are preparing for the gun grabbers next target: Arizona. Yep, you guessed it. They're coming here and Nevada next. Nevada will likely see this measure on the ballot as well. It seems that having marijuana legalization also on the ballot will be a repeated strategy. This is not a paid plug and I don't get anything for saying this, but I hope you will join me with the civil rights organizations that are actively fighting for our ever assaulted rights. AzCDL, or Arizona Citizens Defense League is the pro-gun group that brought us permitless, Constitutional carry of concealed weapons, amongst other great advancements in the past few years. They need both a large number of members on their rolls to keep their clout with the legislature and public to blunt the advancements of Bloomberg and his buddies. I wear hunter orange even though it isn't required by law. I am especially careful to wrap up a deer if carting it out. IMHO it should be a law that if you have a scope on your rifle, you need to carry binoculars in the field. Would definitely cut down on the amount of times one dumb@$$, lazy, cheap hunter scopes another. Just my $0.02.

All of my cameras are infrared flash and that definitely doesn't scare the animals off. If anything, it has brought tons of elk in to lick and chew on the camera. I've never heard of any reports that I take for credible that white flash cams blow animals out of country.

A stiff breeze will blow them out of country. I rarely see them in the same place twice.

You can get the Primos Truth Cam for $50 when it goes on sale or is refurbished, which is quite often. Its is large and bulk so it doesn't do well when a low, inconspicuous profile is necessary. Mine doesn't miss much and the 4x D batteries, while expensive, last a long time. I got about 30,000 photos this summer on one set. You don't want trash, but IMHO quantity is better than quality as far as trail cams go.
