I need some new tires as well. I got some tires from a cw member last year, but forgot who it was:(

My 6.5 got a cow elk last year at 550 yards. It's definitely not the ideal caliber for Elk, but it will work at medium distances.

Eric at Axisworks just called to let me know my gun has been cerekoted and is ready to be picked up. I will post pics as soon as Lance is done working his magic on the stock. He also informed me the company that the installed my barrel did a horrible job. They actusually ground my barrel nut to get it to fit into the stock instead of in-letting the stock. Crazy! I'm so happy to finally have a local gunsmith we can trust! He is also building me a custom 28 nosler. I can't wait until I get the call saying it's done. Thanks Eric!

My wife and I found an old plane crash yesterday while doing some hiking. There wasn't much left of the plane, but it appears to be a really old crash. I wasn't able to figure out they type of airplane, but it did have a radial engine. It's possibly and old military aircraft. My guess is it's been there for 30+ years. Anyone else find old plane crashes while out hunting?

If your only shooting out to 500 yards your paper should be close enough. When you are shooting 500-1000 yards you will definitely need to have a more accurate system if you want to consistently make one shot kills!
