Yes you can hunt duck's with the 11/87. I use mine a lot for duck hunting.

I agree, it has a lot of room and would be very comfortable with it loaded. I love the ranch edition. I'm a little concerned the 700 would not be enough power for steep hills with 4 people and lots of gear. Thoughts???
