Nothing really, just something different and challenging.

I took my wife looking for fossils today. We found a new spot that had thousands of small shell fossils. I've come to really enjoy fossil hunting, because it's relaxing and fun finding new things in the woods. These were found on the control road about 2 miles in from the 260 entrance on the south side. If anyone has any good fossil spots I would love to get the location.

It seems like everyone is saying the same thing. I'm helping on a bunch of Elk tags along the rim this fall. I'm going to keep a shotgun in the truck in case we see some birds in a tree. Might get lucky and see some.

I've been told they are all over the rim above Payson, but still very spotty. I know getting one will be VERY challenging, but would be a cool challenge!

This is a very subjective question. Each gun will have different max ranges depending on velocity, BC and weight. Without specific information it's almost impossible to know the max effective range on any specific gun. Lance is the best person to answer these types of questions!!!!!!
