G&F added 495 tags to Unit 22. I guess opportunity now means "raghorn opportunity". Unbelievable!!!!! Obama is trying to take our guns and G&F is killing off all the mature bulls!

Stainless Thompson Center Prohunter 28" 300 Winchester Magnum fluted barrel plus extras

What caliber? -
I would like suggestions on which long range guns are suggested. I'm looking for a gun that has the ability to shoot very accurately to 1000 yards and most importantly has very little re-coil. I am considering a Remington Sendaro in 284 and the Savage Long range Hunter, but I would like to hear other options. The gun will be my back up gun. I will be re-loading my own ammo. I will be putting a Vortex Viper 6.5-20x50 scope with Turrets on the gun. My budget is about $800-1200. I am willing to get a used or new gun or have one built. Adam

Duck hunting near PHX? Ideas??? help?
Big Browns replied to Gut Pile's topic in Small Game, Upland Bird, and Waterfowl Hunting
Yes they are legal to shoot. I'm not sure what the limit is. I think the limit is around 10 birds, but I could be wrong about that number. They are great for kids and they make great dog food!- 20 replies

Carbon fiber tripods
Big Browns replied to elkhunter's topic in Miscellaneous Items related to Coues Deer
I recently bought the carbon fiber manfrotto for about $300. It was cheaper than all the others and it reduced my weight by a couple of pounds! It was worth the money to reduce my packing weight. Other than the weight it works the same. I bought it at the Mesa Sportsmans warehouse! -
These are the best knives ever! They are extremely sharp! The only problem is they break very easily when you get them near a bone! I use a small utility knife that has pliers on it, to change the blade on the havalon. It makes changing the blade a lot safer and easy!

Thanks for all the info guys. I'm really leaning toward the Savage 110 FCP. Anyone have one? How do you like it? -
