If I could convince my wife to sell the house and buy one with a bigger back yard I would own these goats! They are very very cool! Maybe then I wouldn't be such a baby to sleep alone in the scary woods:)

The bottom line is this: There are only a few tags (20%) that are guaranteed to go to the max bonus point pool. The rest go to the general pool. This almost guarantees that there will be people with few to no points that may draw the tag. Obviously it helps to have more points, because you get more chances to draw a low number. It really comes down to luck after the 20% pass! Nobody has a perfect system, but a imperfect system is better than not being able to hunt at all. P.S. are the draw results out yet! My CC was hit

Do I need to have a current Hunter Safety Card to apply for a preference point for Antelope? How many points does it take to draw a decent unit? Thanks, Adam

I'm interested in possibly going on a New Mexico Antelope Hunt this Summer. Just wondering if any CouesWhitetail sponsers are offering any reasonably priced hunts. I would be interested in Buck or Doe hunts. Adam

I was Duck hunting a few years ago with my O/U and had both 3 inch shells go off at the same time. WOW! I still missed and fell on my butt! I'm sure it would have been really funny to watch from a distance:)

I'm not looking for a monster. I would be perfectly happy with a 70 inch Goat. The reason I'm interested in Colorado is due to it being close to Arizona compared to Wyoming or Montana. I'm trying to build up points in numerous states so I a better chance to go hunting every year.

That's a huge increase in tag fee's. It's not a huge suprise. With the economy in the dumps I support the Game & Fish doing what they need to keep everyone employed and wildlife cared for. I know it sucks, but as a state employe I know what it's like to go without state funding and support. I will continue to buy PP untill I have enough to draw a great unit!

Price?

I decided to head out for one last try at finding some Ducks! It turned out to be a really great day! There were a lot of Ducks out! I was able to jump these up on a few different water holes. My son was able to get his first Duck's ever! He was very, very excited! It was also his first time shooting a 12 GA. I was a little unsure how he would handle it, but he did great! After shooting the first bird, the second jumped up and started flying away. My son new exactly what to do. I watched him start to follow the duck and fire! He drilled it! He yelled out “I got him while he was flying ". We were both very excited! It was a great last day Duck hunt!

Welcome to the club!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've stopped using camera's because of these issues. I realised the stress and anger were not worth the trouble!

Mesa seems a little to close for a drop spot! Never know, but I would think you would find drop spots further away from the city. Did you manage to get anything in your traps?
