I think you will find that most if not all the tree stands are up for Deer Season. I highly doubt that you will have any problems sitting in or around their tree stands. When I put up a tree stand I am ok if someone sits in it if I'm not there. Find a water source with good sign and sit it for as many days as you can. Good Luck!

Over the Counter Rifle Deer Tag Question
Big Browns replied to rossislider's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
I'm planning on doing the same thing. I've hunted 36B several times as a left over. I still have not killed anything, but I've seen a lot of nice deer killed and I've always seen a lot of deer. The last hunt I saw over 200 deer in 4 days, all Does. The problem in 36B is there are people everywhare!!!! Call me if you want more info. Adam -

WOW! That is very depressing!

That section sucks in my opinion. If you want to fish a creek I highly suggest you try the Little Colorado in Greer. Much better fishing. Adam

Field Judging Late Season Elk (Real Video Footage)
Big Browns replied to CEI's topic in CEI Outdoors Blog
It's easy to over judge an animal when your excited. That's where you can tell the difference between experienced hunters. With that said, we all get excited and can over or under judge an animal. You did the best you could in that moment. I'm sure a lot of us would have done the same thing. Great learning experance. Adam -

I don't believe that Greer has a RV Park, but I know that Eager and Pine Top have several. Alpine would be a great choice as well. You can camp for free on Forest Service:) Adam

The Verde River above Bartlet Lake would be a great choice. Lot's of catfish and Smallies. Put in south of Camp Verde and come out at Bartlet. It's getting hot so you better go soon and take lots of pictures to share with us. Adam

Sunday morning pwrguy and myself were able to hit Canyon Creek for a few hours. We got on the creek about 6:30 and fished until 10:30. The fishing was really slow. I managed to hook 5 fish and land 3, Rex was able to hook 2 rainbows. The creek is running a little faster than normal and a little dirty. We used a double dropper rig. We caught fish on numerous different nymph's. Black and Brown nymph's worked best. It was really cold at first with the rod guides icing up at each hole, but after a few hours in warmed up and was really nice! Over all it was a really nice day on the water. Thanks for coming with me Rex!
