WOW! That is very depressing!

That section sucks in my opinion. If you want to fish a creek I highly suggest you try the Little Colorado in Greer. Much better fishing. Adam

Field Judging Late Season Elk (Real Video Footage)
Big Browns replied to CEI's topic in CEI Outdoors Blog
It's easy to over judge an animal when your excited. That's where you can tell the difference between experienced hunters. With that said, we all get excited and can over or under judge an animal. You did the best you could in that moment. I'm sure a lot of us would have done the same thing. Great learning experance. Adam -

I don't believe that Greer has a RV Park, but I know that Eager and Pine Top have several. Alpine would be a great choice as well. You can camp for free on Forest Service:) Adam

The Verde River above Bartlet Lake would be a great choice. Lot's of catfish and Smallies. Put in south of Camp Verde and come out at Bartlet. It's getting hot so you better go soon and take lots of pictures to share with us. Adam

Sunday morning pwrguy and myself were able to hit Canyon Creek for a few hours. We got on the creek about 6:30 and fished until 10:30. The fishing was really slow. I managed to hook 5 fish and land 3, Rex was able to hook 2 rainbows. The creek is running a little faster than normal and a little dirty. We used a double dropper rig. We caught fish on numerous different nymph's. Black and Brown nymph's worked best. It was really cold at first with the rod guides icing up at each hole, but after a few hours in warmed up and was really nice! Over all it was a really nice day on the water. Thanks for coming with me Rex!

Ruger Police Service Six in 357 for sale. I bought this gun from a friend a couple of month's ago. I bought it for a carry gun while hunting. After shooting it I have decided to stick with my Glock or 1911. I suck at shooting revolvers:) The gun has some wear on one side of the cylinder. I didn't care about it, because I was going to use and abuse it in the field. Other than the wear it's in nice condition. $300 with a box of Magtech 38 special (50 ct) Firm. Might be willing to trade for new quad tires (25x8-12) or a rifle. Adam

I think the crimp die came loose so the bullet wasn't crimped. I think the bullet was pushed into the case before it was fired. To much pressure. S#@t!!!!!

Yes we fished the Catch & Release Fly and Lure only section. Canyon Creek is located at the top of the rim. It's about an hour North East of Payson. Great Creek. It has a 1 1/2 mile section that is designated Catch & Release. It can be a very good fishing, but the water is usually very clear and the fish can be very spooky. Above the catch and release section the creek is stocked for put and take fishing. Great spot for the kids. The creek is usually really busy during the weekends in the summer month's. Get there early or late and be very stealthy. The Brown's will spook quicker than an old White Tail Buck:) If you catch a fish at Canyon Creek you did something right! Be advised that Canyon Creek is usually a very windy creek to fish! Adam
