I'm very sorry to hear that! Did you set it on the bumper, hood or tailgate? I lost an Orvis 1wt fly($700) rod 8 years ago on the Apache rez by setting it on the back bumper of my truck. Never saw it again. I will hopefully never make that mistake again. I would call a few out door shops in that area to get the word out. Good Luck! Adam

I highly recommend buying the 22N map from Flatline! There maps are fantastic and they show the boundries very well! Well worth the money! Adam

I scout as soon as I know I have a tag. Not for animals, but for new area's and to get to know the land. Water can be very important that time of year. I would spend as much time possible finding as many springs and trails as possible. The more you know about your hunting area the better off you will be. Either way I'm sure you will have a lot of fun.

What is the twist rate? I'm pretty sure it's a 1:9 twist. Awesome gun and very accurate! adam

I got my meat back from Southwestern Processing last week. My wife and I went to my Father in Law's cabin for the weekend. While we were up there we decided to take some of the Bear Chorizo with us to cook every one breakfast. 2 pounds of Chorizo, a dozen eggs, cheese and some Tortillas. It was a fantastic breakfast! I have to say, the Bear Chorizo is a lot better than my Elk Chorizo! It was very tender! Everyone loved it! Can't wait to get my wife a Bear in a few weeks! I need to make some of Kidso's famous STEW! Yum, Yum! If my wife get's one I think Keith's title of "SEXIEST BEAR PICTURE" might be taken away:) Adam

I was lucky and drew 35A this year with 1 point! I know, I was extremely LUCKY! Anyone want to come along for the hunt and help me find a nice deer??????? I'm planning on eating Elk & Deer Back Strap for Dinner for the first 4 night's!!!!!!!!!!! Adam

I have a custom Thompson Encore in .264 win mag. The gun is Awesome! I can shoot a pie plate at 1000 yards all day long(in perfect conditions)! My 8 &10 year old boys love shooting it! It loves Berger 140 grain with Reloader 22. Adam

My wife drew a Unit 22 Oct tag and I got a Dec 35a tag!!!!!! The problem is I put 35a down as a mistake. I know, it's a great mistake! The real problem is I have never been to 35a before. If anyone is willing to send me a pm with some starting info I would be very, very, very gratefull!!!! It's going to be a great year! Adam
